I cannot connect to my Live Mail account.  When the screen comes up, send/receive is "whited out" and all of the boxes show nothing in them.  Nothing in inbox, nothing in outbox or any of the other mail folders and my contacts box shown so contacts.  HELP!

Yes I know how to edit a contact, but I have a new computer and the contact list was downloaded many times, therefore each contact now appears 5 times. Can I open the complete contact list check off the contacts I do not was and delete.

So I took the plunge and accepted the free Windows 10 upgrade. Quite happy - even my Windows live mail was working - suddenly now it won't open. Somehow lost a file called WLDCore.dll. Now if Windows 10 supposed to be so fancy and cool - Why can't it sort out problems like that on its own?? It happened when I had Windows 7 and I found out about copying the file from one place and pasting in the Windows live mail folder. Well that doesn't work anymore! Anyone else got suggestions? I am too scared to uninstall and re-install it in case I lose all my contacts and messages.

I downloaded Windows Essentials as suggested elsewhere but cannot find it anywhere. Click on Start there is no search that I can see and nothing about Programs, only Apps. Another user was told to click on Start, Control Panel - well that isn't there anymore either!
