After my company upgraded their mail server from Exchange 2013 to Office365, my Outlook for Mac 2011 refuses to accept my login and password, even though it seems to successfully "auto discover" the correct server.

I have also tried creating a new identity to let it automatically configure everything but the same situation arises.

How can I correctly configure/update my Outlook for Mac 2011 to authenticate and access Office365 mail server?

Thanks!

Fernando

Hi,   I need help.  I installed Windows Live Mail to Windows 10 about a year ago.  Since then I created many folders and added contacts.  Everything worked OK until recently. I had trouble sending and receiving messages, so I re-installed Windows Live Mail.  When I did this, all of my messages, folders and contacts disappeared.  Someone told me they are still on my hard drive, but I don't know where or how to get them.  Can you help me, please?

I was traveling for last 2 months and the last time I downloaded mails from my POP3 mail account into WLM was on May 23 2015.

I came back today and tried downloading the new mails, BUT WLM downloaded only the mails starting July 1st 2016. It is not downloading all the other mails from May 23 to Jun 30th - though they are present on the mail server.

I am using Windows 8 and WLM 2012.

If anyone can suggest a solution - will appreciate that.

Thanks

Hi all,

My ISP has recently changed its email settings to:

Incoming server details
  • Server address
imap.telstra.com
  • Port
993
  • Encrypted connection
SSL
Outgoing server details
  • Server address
smtp.telstra.com
  • Port
465 (recommended) OR 587
  • SMTP authentication
On
  • Encrypted connection
SSL/TLS on port 465 (recommended) OR STARTTLS on port 587

My issue is i use windows 8.1 and now my windows mail client will not allow me to send emails due to the ISP outgoing mail settings being changed.  I cannot for the life of me work out how to get the client to be able to send emails again.

Any help is greatly appreciated, the sooner the better as I have business to attend to !

I use Windows Live Mail with Windows 10 and am very happy with it. Here's is my frustration.

I'd like to be able to delete mail from my Android phone without it being deleted from my Windows Live Mail Inbox.

There is a checked box on the Properties page of my WLM accounts which says "Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing." What would un-checking this box do?

Is there a way to prevent any synching either from WLM or from the Android phone?

Help with this issue will be greatly appreciated.
