Trying to right click on a picture and "Send to" mail recipient. Windows mail opens and goes through the motions until I hit the send button. It closes and I get this pop-up: An unknown error has occurred.
Server: 'promail.ptd.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8007007A
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 587
Secure(SSL): No
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, setting the defaults, signing out and back in, resetting password...everything. Still won't work. None of the listed suggestions has worked either. Maybe a new angle from someone?

All I want live mail to do is notify me the day before and set appointments.
At the moment they come through at 0218 aprox!
Outlook used to do this!
I am having an issue creating a rule to move data out of the inbox into an archive folder.
I want to move info prior to 2010 into a new folder.
I enter the rule as any messages older than 2190 days and set the folder and save.
When I go back into the rule,, the days are at 2
Any suggestions?
I have installed all the latest patches
