Hi

I have 15 000 emails on my imap account but outlook gives me the spinning wheel when syncing the last email and requires a force quit - anybody that can help with the issue.

regards

jacques

An issue from 2011 seems to have come up again in 2014. I have a window in the bottom right hand corner of Outlook (2011 for Mac) that says "Updating message list" and it is stuck at ZERO / however many. (The number keeps going up.)

I can see the messages on my iPhone and they are NOT being delivered to Outlook. I have restarted both the computer and Outlook itself. Have also rebuilt the database yet nothing works.

I have office 2011 installed in my mac.  I have been trying to purchase Outlook for 2011.  Does anyone know if this is possible?

As already discussed and not resolved here: http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/172/t/57936.aspx

I would like to see a warning when a user attaches a large attachment. There is currently none, and the user thinks their email has been sent, when in fact it tries to send over and over again. I've seen users inadvertently attach files that are 100's of MBs in size. I've also seen it use a lot of data as the system tries to send these emails over and over again.

I believe there is such a feature in the Windows version of Outlook – is there a plan to add it into the Mac?

1. The content of my sent box has disappeared.

2. I keep getting asked for my password for the keychain.

OS 9.2 Office 2011 updated.  About 6 months ago I tried to follow instructions to create Smart Files that would pull emails from multiple addresses into one Smart File.  I gave up concluding that if I wanted a Smart File I had to use Apple Mail.  Because I did not want to change from Outlook I have functioned without Smart Files.

I am an attorney.  In Entorouge I used the project to consolidate emails from different sources into one project (client/case) file.  In Outlook I cannot format the Smart File to cause multiple email addresses put into one Smart File.

Six months have passed.  Is there anything new or something I missed that will allow Smart File settings to include multiple emails?

Also, even when I established single email Smart Files, the files disappeared after several day.  I recall a discussion about this problem and a fix but I can't find it in archives.

When i contact the customer service for Outlook 2011 for MAC only, they say i now have to buy the full pack of Office for Mac Business 2011 which has the same WORD, EXCEL and PPT that i already have which are working perfectly fine.  I don't need to understand why i need to buy all 4 of them in a bundle and why cannot i just buy Outlook 2011 for MAC?   Every other company offers these programs individually. Why not Microsoft?  Why this restrictive bundling is being enforced on consumers????????

Am I the only one who's seeing this issue?
