I have been struggling with this issue for some time.

As I am typing an email in Outlook (HTML on) the fonts will change mid-sentence sometimes. Sometimes it is just the font size, sometimes it is a completely different typeface.

I do not have any font management application running (i.e., Suitcase) so I don't know what would be affecting this. I also trying clearing out and pref files to no avail.

Thanks.

I have tried repairing and creating a new identity and I think I created more than one new identity. I have tried updating my Office to the newest edition and now when I hold down Shift+Alt when opening Outlook, it gives me this code:

Please help.

Outlook (Office) for Mac 2011 running on a Mac (10.7.5)

I can't see where to configure Outlook to show the next message after you delete the message you were currently reading. The program takes you back to your intray.  It should be configurable to show the next message, the prior message or take you back to the intray.

I was able to do this with Entourage, haven't found how to do it in '11.

I have over 13,000 deleted items on my work exchange account. I do not want to download the full folder to my MBA as it will clog up the HD. Any ideas if this is possible?

Hi,

I am unable to 'Empty' the Deleted Items folder in Outlook 2010 on a Mac with OS X 10.9.2. The folder is stuck with a badge number '85', and when I manually empty the folder by right clicking, I see a progress bar and the folder empties but the badge number '85' does not go away. When restarting Outlook, the Deleted Items folder once again has the 85 emails in the folder. They just never go away. I have cleaned up my email boxes and opened Outlook by holding option and rebuilding but that did not fix the issue. I have also indexed my spotlight with no luck. Indexing has helped in the past, but not in this instance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I have changed passwords on gmail accounts, which were forwarding to Outlook through iMac Microsoft Office application.  I am unable to forward new mail due to a verification error.  I have set up secondary verification on some accounts and not others, but I am still unable to send/receive after deleting accounts and creating new accounts with the new passwords.  How do I get (any) but especially second verification accounts to forward through Outlook?

Hello,

I exported some messages from Outlook Express years ago to .iaf files. I now need to access them on a mac. How can I import them into Outlook 2011 for mac or mail?

Any help would be gratefully received. I am very stuck!

Hello,

I am running OSX 10.9.2 on my MacBook Air and am suddenly having trouble attaching files to my emails.  I've always hit the "paperclip" icon in an email that I am composing, it's pulled up a screen showing everything on my computer, I've selected the folder I wanted such as "Documents", double clicked the documents folder to have it open and show me what's in there, and then clicked the file I wanted.  Now I do that same process and it stops opening at the folder level and tries to attach the whole folder.  I know I can open finder separately and drag any file into the email but that is really a pain and I'm not sure what has changed.  Can anybody help me?

Thank you!!!!

I'm using Google apps Gmail (IMSAP) with Outlook 2011 on my MAC.

Yesterday, I've noticed that Gmail accounts going through Goggles IMAP (google apps) servers ....the email coming into my inbox isn't downloading... at the bottom right corner of inbox it shows "downloading... 1/19" for example.... but nothing downloads. It seems to be stuck.

See the screenshot below... look at the bottom right corner. You can see "downloading" and the download bar... but it won't download... it stays like that for hours.

When I access those email accounts using web Gmail, the emails are there. They are just not downloading into my OUTLOOK.

Other GMail accounts that are normal (non-corporate) gmail accounts such as *** Email address is removed for privacy *** download perfectly.

I've archived messages to reduce the size of my inbox, I've rebooted router, restarted IMAC... nothing seems to help.

This just started yesterday. Before that, everything was OK. This problem is only on my office IMAC. At home, running same configuration, my IMAC outlook 2011 is just fine!!

I have NO filters set up to screen emails...what's going on?
