I have set up Office365 email addresses on all of our Macs here using Outlook 2011 and everyone is working fine except one. Every few days it is removing the account and all of the emails and we have to input all of the details again in the account setup. I've checked all of the settings against all of the other Macs and they all match.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Hello,

How do I make an automatic word wrap (DIN A4) while I am writing an email in Outlook for Mac 2011.

At the moment I can write endless and the receive of the email gets "strange" emails from me.

Thanks for help.

Hello everyone,

I have an odd behaviour with an outlook for mac client from a colleague connected to an Exchange 2013 (Hosted) :

When this Client receives a mail from e-mail users on the same server - same organisation or different doesn't seem to matter - the user name is sometimes (not always) flagged with a red ? next to it.

When the client replies to this mail it won't send and gives an error messages that this e-mail address cannot be found.
(No other Clients like Outlook for Windows / iPhone etc show this behaviour)

If the user then clicks on that username to open the contact it will open one of his private contacts (not in any way related with name or mail) instead of the correct user and contact folder on the server.

As no other users / clients have reported this issue I guess it is a client problem, but i might be wrong on this ;)

Anyone else saw a similar behaviour with outlook for mac connected to an exchange server ?

thanks in advance - any hints welcome

Florian S

Please assist.

My exchange mail works fine when plugged in at the office, but if I connect via 3g, i cannot get mail. Unfortunately, it doesn't auto discover the settings.

I know how to set up the http proxy settings in outlook for windows, but I am unsure how to do it on my Mac.

I can connect via my browser using the webmail access, so I should be able to connect from outlook.

Thanks

Ian

MacBook Pro hard drive failure. Replaced it. Office programs dont function. Office:mac requests serial # How do we obtain old serial number from Microsoft.

Lately, outlook 2011 for Mac, is on and open, yet not coming up, so I have to force quit a lot now to get it rolling.

It seems the only diagnostic is to rebuild the identity, correct ? Any other ideas?

OK just did rebuild and it did not help. Outlook for first time cannot be kept up live, it freezes and then has to be force quit and relaunched, and ideas. thanks.

I'm using Outlook 2011 for Mac. All of a sudden I can't receive mail.  I can send.  I get error code -16999 and an error alert showing "[SYS/TEMP] problem retrieving message".

I have 2 different POP account.  One gets it's mail and the other doesn't.

I've restarted my computer and cleared the Permissions using Disk Utility.

Thoughts?

My outlook suddenly stopped working last week. I now receive the message "this identity cannot be opened with this version of Outlook"

I tried the obvious uninstall/reinstall options and have followed a range of other remedies offered in help pages however the same message keeps appearing... Any ideas of what to try? Thanks Karen
