Hey all,

We have about 10 users in the office and an admin account. When the admin account makes a calendar event for one of our users everyone in the company is getting an email about it! Can anyone offer any advice on how to stop that from happening?

We don't have any groups such as admin where people are getting them. I would really appreciate anyone shedding some light on this.

Hi,

Using outlook for PC with Exchange, shared folders can be created where multiple users can put emails. It’s especially handy for storing and archiving all of the emails related to a project and eliminates the need for staff to sort and store emails themselves.  Emails come first into the recipients’ inbox and can then be dragged and dropped into the shared folder once read. They can then be referenced by all users during the project’s lifespan then eventually saved as a .pst file to provide an accurate archive.
I’d like to know if there's an equivalent setup on the mac version?

Can I view my tasks on my Calendar in Outlook 2011 Mac? Thus, have something similar to My Day planner but be able to view all tasks according to their due date on the Calendar Month wise or week wise?

I installed MS Office for Mac on my new MacBook Air last week directly from the MS website. I am using Outlook.

How can we adjust the preview pane font size - make it larger. EG. I Have chosen font Calibri 12 but when typing an email the font size appears 3 times smaller.

We can adjust the font size for new messages and the inbox list is also small. Cannot figure out how to permanently make it larger. We understand that we can open the message and zoom on each one. but am looking for a permanent solution.

Thank you

I wanted to save a draft message to 150 people via Outlook, but instead I sent it. As a result, the message is not going out and continues to be in my OUTBOX. Now I want to DELETE the message in my OUTBOX but I cannot access the message to delete it. How can I find it and delete it?
Thanks, HC

When starting up outlook, in 8 out of the 10 cases there is a message that the identity needs to be restored. This proces takes 4 to 5 minutes after which the programme starts up. After the proces is finished there is a file called " recovered files" in the trash bin.

Is there a remedy for this problem??

I saved my PST file in Dropbox and pointed OUTLOOK to it in all my 7 PC (Home & Office PC reading room, lawn, conference room etc.) and any computer I open I see all my mails as I left in any of my computers. It has immensely enhanced my working life without limitation since all my other office files are also stored in Dropbox. I just open any PC and I am in a working mode. A PC just needs to be connected with the Dropbox. I have complete control over all my E-mails of more than last14 years.

Sadly I cannot to the same with my Mac as a result despite all its beauty I cannot use my Mac as often as I want.

Can anyone PLEASE tell me how I can see all my outlook emails both in a PC and a Mac from the Dropbox or …?

When I compose an email (plain text or HTML) in Outlook, it always replaces straight quotes with smart quotes. When I get a response from my email, my unwanted smart quote becomes a different character, usually a superscript one: ¹. In other words, I'm becomes I¹m. It makes my message look unprofessional.

Update: I also noticed that sometimes that "I'm" becomes "I’m" in the reply that I receive.

I noticed that Microsoft Word has a specific preference for this. It's under AutoCorrect, in the AutoFormat as You Type tab, in the the Replace as you type section. There's a checkbox labeled: "Straight quotation marks" with "smart quotation marks"

Can Outlook get the same preference?

In the meantime, is there anyway to fix this?
