My pop accounts in live mail no longer work, it happened about a week or so ago. Accounts work if I go thru web access.

My laptop was hit with some viruses.( they have been removed and the pc is fine now). in the middle of my virus problems my windows live mail would not recognize my password. I can log on to windows live mail (outlook) via the web but I cannot log into
windows live mail on the laptop. We have uninstalled and reinstalled live mail numerous times. The servers still block my passwords (which have also been changed). Could microsoft be blocking the laptop from signing on and if so how do I get them to allow
me through. I have windows live mail 2012 on a different laptop and it works fin.

I have about 5 email addresses that I use this program for, all of them either hotmail or live addresses, and just one of them is having issues. Every time I open WLM, all of them download their new emails just fine except this one. It fails, every single
time now for more than a week, with the following error message:

When I go to windows live mail it keeps asking dfor my password and when I put it in it says it doesn't match. I checked it and it is right. I have removed the account and put it back in. I have checked that caps are off and the number lock is on. This is puzzling.

Back when Hotmail changed I moved my Hotmail account to Windows Live, which I love. I had my Googlemail account linked to my Hotmail, and so now in Windows Live I have both in the left hand pane - great. However, since moving to Windows Live, every time I get an email to my linked Googlemail account, it then forwards it to my Hotmail, meaning I'm constantly getting two notifications for each mail! I want to stop the 'email forwarding' while keeping my Googlemail linked, so I only get one notification for each Googlemail email, rather than one after the other. I've checked my actual Googlemail account and I have no email forwarding set up.
Please could someone help!?
