On August 14th, "Cannot connect to server" appeared when I used my iPhone 5 to check morning email.  Verizon confirmed it was a "Hotmail" issue.  Later that day, my calendar repopulated and '50' messages were in my inbox.  Still rec'd the error message and the emails were months old.  Next day, 580+ emails but the dates were from 4 days in April.  Cannot send or receive emails at all, and the number's 50 again.  

I can access Hotmail from other computers.
