Hi,

I use Windows 8.  I also use the Windows Live Mail client program where I download and manage my Verizon email account and a Gmail account for the school where I teach.

Recently when I have attempted to start my Live Mail client program, I see a pop-up window that indicates "Windows Live Mail is Recovering Database" or something like that.  (I have not memorized the message in the window because it does not last long and the program loads with the email without issues.)

A few hours ago I shut down my Windows 8 computer after closing all open programs.  I restarted my computer a few minutes ago.  However this time all of my email communications in the Windows Live Mail client program on the hard drive have disappeared.

Does anyone know what might cause this?  Any help would be appreciated.

Anita

How do you get rid of the error message coming on every time I open email?
I'm trying to create a signature, with a picture, in Outlook Live Mail .  Signature option page has similar to this edit page option but no image option.
Just font, links, and html / rich text

Can you steer me in right direction?

Use rich text?  Use a link to a picture on my C: Drive?

Thanks Much

I have a windows mail set up on a VISTA laptop computer.  I also have a new desktop running Win 7.  I  am trying to get new Windows Live Mail to recieve mail from my verizon.net e-mail account.  I also would like to import som folders from ols Windows Mail. Anyone?  Please help.

I have been trying to send out a newsletter to a group of my contacts.  The email won't send and it keeps showing this message:

Please use the following format for email addresses: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. If you're using category names or nicknames, make sure you don't have any typos.

It then gives an example of a problem email address of one of my contacts, but I checked and there is no problem, with that contact or any of the contacts on the list....I have sent out emails to this group many times before and have never had a problem.

It has been a few months since I sent out the last letter, maybe something has changed in the meantime in regards to how Outlook allows you to send emails to groups?

Obviously, I'm bcc-ing because I don't want everybody's email listed.
I have no emails in my account.  It has not worked in 4 days.  I have had this problem before.  Please help!!!
Just upgrade to 8.1, but live mail will not work.  Says file MSVCR110.DLL is missing.  Tried reinstalling Windows Essentials but did not fix it. Please advise.

put a lot of time into a draft reopened it highlighted text, hit delete, lost entire draft.

Where did it go???
