This account can’t be used to access Outlook.com

There are several threads on this problem, but they are all locked.

I'm getting this message when I go to Outlook.com. It says my account is an Office 365 account. I've cancelled my Office 365 account a long, long time ago. If I try to sign into Office 365 it forwards me to Outlook.com and shows me this error again.

Please help!

Sky Drive – ERROR 0x80040A41 – Internal Employee Question

Would like to know how to deal with the ERROR 0x80040A41 on SKYDRIVE. He still has access to his photos on Skydrive, but he isn't able to open important files. Additionally there is a call sign next to the Skydrive icon.

I have been using Microsoft outlook on my desktop for my business for years.  I would like to be able to access it through outlook.com, but my address isn't recognized: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  Is there a way to use this account with outlook.com?

Can’t read my e mail messages.

Yesterday I downloaded a bunch of pictures that were sent to me on e mail.  A message came up on the top of the Outlook screen that said that there are too many attachments that I should put them somewhere else on the computer.  So I right clicked on the mouse and saved them on My Pictures.  (Nothing is on there after doing that).  Problem now is that I can not read any of my e-mail messages and I can't get access to the pictures.  Any suggestions as to what to do?  Not very smart when it comes to computers so if you have any suggestions make them very simple.  Thank you.

Recieve error message resetting password

Hello
I have asked this question before, recieved a poor answer from a moderator, and then the question was locked so that i could not reply that the answer was clearly stated that it was already tried. On my OTHER live.com account that i use for personal and work email, my password was somehow hacked and i needed to reset the password. i filled out the form with my information, old passwords, email subjects, old senders, all if that, and recieved an email link to reset my password. when i enter the link, i get an error message that says "there is a temporary problem with this service" however, this temporary problem has been happening for DAYS. please dont send me a link to reset my password or look up my problem, as i have already done this! there needs to be a better way to get techical support for email issues!

New Email Opens Up in Full Window Only

When I "Reply" or start "New" email the full window opens up instead of the smaller window which normally opens to the right of the screen. How can I stop the full composition window from opening?

My Skydrive files are not in Windows 8.1 skydrive app

Hello,

  I recently upgraded my surface pro to windows 8.1 and am having problems with Skydrive.  I use skydrive to sync files between my surface pro and my other laptop running windows 8.  I noticed that in /users/ME/ I had 2 skydrive folders yesterday: a Skydrive folder and a skydrive.old folder which were both not in sync with my Cloud Skydrive.  It looked like when I clicked on Skydrive from the left favorites pane in windows explorer, it showed my cloud skydrive, and if I clicked on a file it downloaded the file and opened it in the appropriate program.  Since the 2 folders under /users/ME/  were different (and both using large amounts of space) I deleted them.  But now when I click on Skydrive from the favorites pane or in the skydrive app I do not see any of my files, but I could see them still on the skydrive.live.com website, and under PC-settings/Skydrive it has the correct amount of space that I do have available on my skydrive. 


How could I reset Skydrive so that it shows my cloud skydrive in the Skydrive folder in the favorites pane and in the skydrive app?

lost favorites on skydrive sync

I have a simple question - I tried to use Skydrive to sync favorites with new Surface Pro 2 (from Surface Pro) but only got favorites on the bar to sync, not the folders of favorites on the bar. Now both computers have the same set of 6 favorites but I can't find the 3 folders of dozens of favorites anywhere. Are they lost?

Neighbor trying to access account

I don't want to have to change my password every single time my neighbor unsuccessfully tries to access my account. This happens every few days. She has been trying for over 6 months now and she will NEVER figure out my password so why do I keep getting punished for her actions?
