I know there are already a few threads about issues with Skydrive in 8.1 but I couldn't see one that was identical to my situation.  I'm finding that I can upload a file to skydrive from, say, my android device and then:
  • it is visible in my skydrive app on the android device from which I uploaded the file
  • it is visibile in the skydrive app on a different android device
  • it is visible on skydrive.live.com in any browser on any device
  • it is visible in the modern UI app on my surface RT AND in the file system on the desktop of my surface RT
  • it is NOT visible in the skydrive app or folders on my 8.1 pro laptop :(  
This makes me sad AND is severely inhibiting my productivity.  

Any ideas?

I get this message when trying to access my e-mail. I am able to access my calendar and my other options on my account. I have cleared my history and restarted my browser and computer. Customer support verified there are no billing issues. I have reset the password. I am still getting this message as of 10:39 Eastern on 10/24/13 - I use this account for my business and need this rectified immediately. 

What are the next steps for me to access my hotmail.com e-mail address?

Hi Whenever i try to open either an excel or word document on my web skydrive account i get the following message.....

 

"Microsoft office cannot access the file.....

The file name/path does not exist

the file is being used by another programme

The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a currently open workbook". 

 

I use windows explorer 9, Microsoft office 2007 and my operating system is Window's vista home premium.

 

 

Can anyone offer any help please?

My name is populating incorrectly all of a sudden when people on gmail go to e-mail me. I believe someone may have hacked in and changed it, but from where I can see it, all of my profile has my correct name. However, when someone goes to type my email in gmail, it populates with another name.

I followed several suggestions and still get the message.  I have cleared cache, etc. This just started  in the last hour or so on the 24th of October, 8PM Thailand time.  Never had any occurrence of error messages when I signed in before.  I have tried IE 8, IE 9, Firefox, Google Chrome to no avail.  You can notify me but how if I CANNOT sign in?

I forward email from an Office 365 mailbox provided by my university to my mailbox on Outlook.com (Live Domains).  For various reasons I do not want to/am unable to use POP retrieval for this.

Most email forwards fine, however some emails are forwarded to me and land in the 'Junk' folder of my Oulook.com mailbox with the error below appended to the original message.

1. as my email is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** , I was under the impression I need to set up the server settings for the app in order for them to work so how can i do that?

 

2. Yes it does not apply to any specific kind of emails but I am not able to see previous emails nor any present ones.

 

3. Not sure what this is supposed to mean?
