I sent a test email to my account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and it did not go through.

I keep getting the message:

 

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (gcsteele32) account.

Server Error: 5102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

 

I have deleted all my inbox and deleted items and also my folders that I keeping emails in and still I am getting this message when accessing and closing my windows live/outlook/Hotmail email

I have not been able to receive email through my live.com account since noon today, it is now 7:15pm.

More information:
I checked my email from three different providers and three different devices / computers so it is not my ISP
I am not getting any errors, I am just not receiving mail.
I confirmed that I can send email to others
I confirmed that I cannot receive email, by e-mailing myself from my own account, from other accounts, and friends have confirmed that they have sent me e-mails and still nothing.

After waiting for a call back for an hour and then speaking with tech support, they referred me to online chat support, who then referred me to this forum because online mail is a free product.

What's going on? Do I need to get some other account?

1. That is a problem I am experiencing. I went into mail settings selected a font and size and saved it. When I start to type it might stay the same saved settings for 1 paragraph then change font and size. Most frustrating is,  I go back highlight it click on proper font and size it will not change? This happens 8 out of 10 emails.

 

2. When I open outlook to go over emails, I'm able to work with  5 messages. Then the system acts like it is frozen, I go to the next email and  it will not let me click the box to open it. I found if I click reply, it opens so  I can go down and look at that email. I have tried to refresh the page to no avail. I can go in and open the calendar, or contacts just to waste time but it takes about 5 minutes before I can return to the email and have it function properly. I will reply, send or delete 5 messages and I am back in the same boat of having to wait for it to do what ever happens.

 

3. When I try to clip an attachment from my docs or sky drive, I get an error message that Internet Explorer is experiencing an problem, it will not move the attachment to the email and shuts down the page.

 

If there is an answer, pls make it in very very simple terms. I am not real  computer savvy so things must be in steps. Don't assume I would know to do something between a step because I don't.   

 

I have Windows 7, Dell, lots of storage, run scans frequently and do back-ups.

These issues have gone on since Outlook showed up on the machine one day.

In skydrive when trying to open folders script errors prevent the folders from opening leaving a blank screen.

500 Gb Hard drive

32-64 bit

 

This unit was working fine for three years.  I recently changed from Comcast to Verizon FIOS two weeks ago (8-27-2013).  No problems until 9/29/2013.  I got this message on my outlook Address.  The other address are two Verizon and two Comcast addresses which are still working fine. 

 

The Error message panel reads:  Top of post <> Windows Live Mail

                                                    Unable t send or receive messages for the outlook (FxxxxxxxxxM) account.

All my hotmail emails have disappeared.  It is some months since I last logged on to hotmail.  Where have they gone to?
For some reason my SkyDrive stopped syncing with my desktop app. I share many folders with two other people, who have been adding and editing files in my folders.
I know that I can unlink and then do a First Run Experience, but I have a concern. Will the files I have updated or created in my desktop app be synced when I relink SkyDrive? What will happen to files that both I and another user have edited. Let's say the sync stopped working on 9/1.  I have a file "ABC" that I edited on 9/2 and my colleague edited on 9/3.  When I unlink and then re-link Skydrive, what will happen to the file "ABC"? Also, my colleagues have created some new folders and moved files to those folders-- will we only get duplicates or will any files/folders get deleted?
