I just added my gmail account to Windows Live Mail and after a few minutes of it trying to download folders from gmail, a Windows live mail "box" came up with a message that said “the connection to the server has failed.” Imap is enabled in my gmail account, and I am connected to the internet. In properties in WLM I have it set for 5 minutes so it wouldn't time out and it still does trying to dowload folders.
Here is the Info from the details box shows
Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.
Now I have NO working windows live email account. Not happy.
I have temporarily reverted to using a Dell Inspiron E1405 (loaner), after my Toshiba Satellite failed catastrophically this week. The Dell has a new hard drive and Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit) operating system installed. Basics in the Windows Live package did not get installed with Windows 7, like the essential (much needed) photo editor and movie maker.
When I tried to install Windows Live Essentials 2011, partway through, this popup appeared:
Window's Live Essentials Installer Error: 0x8104000d, Source: WaitForCatalog
Despite what the error message says, there is a strong signal source and full connection to the internet. Proxy issues were not present, nor firewall interference.
There was no published troubleshooting data available through Microsoft.
Why isn't this installer issue addressed by Microsoft on their Windows Essentials information/help page?

I can't sign in to my hotmail account. I keep getting a message that they've temporarily blocked my account because someone else may be using it. I've tried resetting my password by using the code they send to my alternate email. I've tried this three
times, it still won't work. I've tried to find hotmail support online but it always goes back to resetting my password. I can't get a phone number to call or an email address to send my complaint to. What do I do next?

I have Windows Vista with Windows Mail. My problem lies in Windows Mail. When I open an email and click on something, I get this message: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create in Association in the Set
Associations Control Panel." I have looked in the Control Panel and cannot find it. Please help!
Trying to download Windows Live Photo Gallery and Movie Maker 2011 (I'm running Windows 7 and don't want to upgrade to 10, by the way). It's failing, and saying I'm not connected to the internet. I am. Any ideas?
when you were in hotmail there was a feature at the bottom right hand side of the screen if u clicked on it a calendar would appear and u could search your mail by date that way but it seems to have dissapeared does anyone know how to do it now
