Just had to do a complete clean install. I was using the Insider Program when this little low powered laptop just froze.
I want to get Windows Essentials back but MS no longer supports it.
I have the wlsetup-web.exe file but it won't download the needed files.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that has run it to this and I've spent over an hour searching this forum and other download sites and got nowhere.
So sorry but I liked the features in Windows Essentials. Use them ALL the time.
Where or how can I get them back?

I'm having an issue with my 231 GB hard drive which is filled up for no apparent reason. I'm running windows 10 Pro and I've exhausted You Tube and eliminating all the usual suspects that I can fine. Last night I managed to run a back up to an external USB drive using an amount of space basically equal to the capacity of my hard drive which does make sense since it's full. All my visible programs and allotted space for Windows use only a small percentage of my disk space and I am now rather confident that my drive is filled up with hidden copies upon hidden copies. Question is, "how do I see those files, if they do exist, and how do I remove them"? Thanks. Any input appreciated.
I can find WLM via file:///C:/Users/xxxxxxx/AppData/Local/Microsoft/, but when I righr click on it, I don't get a "restore" option - just some open, save, copy and inspect choices.
What do I do next?
When I go into 'Contacts' with live email, it fails to respond. All the contacts are present & my email works fine. This has just happened. I wanted to add a contact to my contacts list and it had not responded after 10 minutes. I then find I have to right click to close window from the task bar if I want to get back into my emails.
Has anyone had this experience?

Request the question. require to have folder of my Windows live Mail. I have my computer rebuild and the OS of windows 10 loaded and now I can not get back my folder and emails on windows live mail. I have used another computer with windows live mail 2012 and my folders have not appeared can you please help cheers
