This is the message I get when I try to check my Hotmail.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Karen / Hotmail account.

I made a movie of a incident in our community. I entered the pictures, music, & etc. I Burned  to a disk from the Windows software program.  The disk will not open in anyone's DVD including My New Today DVD player NAXA. What do I need to do to make this work ? Anyone's help would be appreciated.

Movie Maker Save Problem

I recently installed movie maker onto my computer to just splice a few clips together, and once I tried to save (using the "recommended for your project" setting) and it stopped at 95% for a few minutes. I quickly realized that I was saving with the wrong file type, so I tried saving again, this time using the "save for computer" option and it just stopped at 0% and stayed like that for an hour, so I tried it again a few times (about 10) and still, the same thing happened.

Hi

I can't find an option to remove (or better select most and remove) people from my safe-sender list on my Hotmail account... I seem to be able to add to the list only! 

I shouldn't ever need to come to a Microsoft forum to ask for this, it should be so obvious even to the blind.

What happens when you try?

When the program is unable to send or receive, it will almost always display an error message explaining what went wrong. Remove any unsent messages from the outbox (below the account folders in the folder pane), then compose a new test message with a unique subject and send it to yourself (i.e. from the account that's misbehaving to the same account). Post any error messages in your reply. You can click on an error message to select it, then use right-click to copy it and paste it into the text entry box.

When you reply, please give your build of the program and your version of Windows.
 

  • To find your program version and build, in Windows Live Mail press Alt-F B.
     
  • To find your operating system, press Windows key + R, type winver into the box and press Enter.

Same problem: cannot send messages (but I can receive messages). I followed the instructions, but did not work. Her my info:
Windows Live Mail: version 2011 (Build 15.4.3502.0922)

Microsoft Picture Manager 2003 pictures unable to be open in newer format. Help!

I have an older desktop that I have used to save pictures over the years.  I have housed my pictures in the Microsoft Picture Manager 2003 program on that computer, however it is slowly dying.  Is there is no compatible program in which to be able to open these pictures on my new computer... either through Microsoft Picture Manager 2006 or through Microsoft Photos?  When I go to open the pictures, the pictures come out with the file name, however show a small box with a red X. I don't have the option to right click and show the picture.  Is there any way to open/retrieve these pictures or all they all lost to my old computer?  Thank you.

Microsoft Live Mail Setup Problem unable to send mail

Unable to send email ,  I'm trying to setup a new lap top for the first time.  I am able to receive email successfully, but can not send.  My email provider is Comcast.net.  Any help is appreciated.
