The first time I tried the slideshow after creating a trip file including photos and video shorts, it worked fine. But now it doesn't work any more and I can't figure out how to get the videos to run within the photo slideshow. The sideshow now skips past the videos. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.
My Microsoft email went to "work offline" for some reason. I cannot get it to return to "work online".

My Windows Movie Maker was frozen, I have instantly pushed Ctrl+S to save if it can still be saved. All my videos suddenly disappeared in my project leaving the workspace white. I waited for the program to recover in vain, then forced closing. Tried to reopen my file but it was all white. It would still play the empty, white videos though. The program suggested me a file recovery, but the recovered file was an even emptier new project. Opening a the original saved project and the one recovered by WMM in Notepad shows they both still contain a lot of information, so I did not stop hoping. Please help :(

Hi
I don't see how to tag people in the new MS Photos app .
Is it possible?
I turned on 'face recognition' but I can't see any tags showing...
Also I am unable to see the tags I had in Windows Photo Gallery. Are the imported into 'Photos'
Thanks for the help
Daniel
I'm uncertain of the security settings and incoming outgoing mail service addresses needed to setup an outlook.com e-mail account in Windows Mail.
I'm running Windows Vista x64.
So far I've entered an incoming Pop3 and outgoing smpt server.
pop-mail.outlook.com
smtp-mail.outlook.com
However I'm uncertain about

We recently switched to Charter/Spectrum for internet service. I am trying to set-up Windows Live Mail (WLM) so I can use it with my new Charter account. WLM works perfectly fine for my old account from my old provider. WLM works with my Charter account to receive mail but not to send mail. When I attempt to send mail, it cannot connect to the server.
Charter tech support helped me over the phone, but to no avail. They recommended I call Microsoft tech support, but upon doing so, I was informed that they do not offer phone support for WLM. The Microsoft technician recommended that I use this forum to receive help.
The Charter technician was kind enough to send the following message, which contains all the important information used in WLM. He said these settings should work.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Username: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
- Password: @charter.net email account password
- SSL: On for SMTP and IMAP
- Incoming Mail Server/IMAP:
- Hostname: mobile.charter.net
- Server Port: 993
- Outgoing Mail Server/SMTP:
- Hostname: mobile.charter.net
- Server Port: 587
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So .... Anybody know what's wrong?
