Question about Outlook Express

I've tried everything I've read on previous posts and nothing has worked . I did the Repairing Windows Live Essentials 2011 thing, but once the repair is 100% complete, a message appears telling me that the internet connection was lost and I should Retry.  Then I went to the Options tab from the dark blue access File (top left) in Email, clicked Mail, then Connections and then Stop Signing In and Okay...nothing happened. Next I went to https://people.live.com and saw my contacts there. So I Exported them using csv., but files did not download with First and last names as I had wanted.  I don't know what to do any more.

A box will not stop popping up and I do not know how to get rid of it. It reads: "Enter your username and password for the following server:

smtp.mail.me.com. Entering my password, clicking "ok" and clicking "cancel"do not mitigate the issue. Please help!

Is the read receipt option available in Windows Live Hotmail.

I tried the dark blue tab on WLM leading to Options, Mail, Connections. Under Connecting to Windows Live, I clicked Stop Signing in and then Okay.  That did nothing!  Then I went to Programs and Features and clicked Uninstall for Windows Live Mail.  This led me to a screen where one of the choices was Repairing Windows Live Essentials 2011 which I clicked to run.  At the end of the reapir (green bar filling up), I got a message that there was no internet connection or it was lost and I should Retry.  I am desperate to retrieve my contact list.  I must have it as I mass mail newsletters to my readers (I'm an author).  Please help.

Is Windows Photo Gallery for Windows 7 available

I cannot attach any attachments to my emails. II am using Outlook Web App. I wasn't able to attach files while using Chrome or Internet Explorer, but not Firefox is not working either..
