Windows Live Mail FAQ
Had a major Windows 10 update a couple of nights ago, since when Windows Live Mail keeps dropping out after about 10 minutes, with the message 'Sorry, something happened, Windows Live Mail will have to close', and that's it. Means I can't input great chunks of text - I losse the lot. What's going on?

I have been having problem with windows live mail which does not send and receive.
The MS guys suggested that may be due to updates therefore we restored the system by 5 days. But that did not resolve. I still get error 0x80004005
Unable to send or receive messages for the Optusnet.com (matai772) account. An unknown error has occurred.Anyone can help me, please?

ATT told me that I need to reset my incoming and outgoing servers and ports to correct windows 10 live mail problem--HOW??

I have had Windows Live Mail running in windows 10 for a long time now.
My computer did an update and when I tried to bring up Live Mail, the icon for LM is gone-all of my contacts and saved emails are gone also.
I can not find LM anywhere on my computer other than the icon appeared after the update. ( I never updated it ) upon opening the icon removed apps,
It is listed in the programs removed. But nowhere on my computer. Will changing the registry, and how to do it, bring back Windows Live Mail 2012?

I have tried many times this link on Windows 10 (as well as the ones that were posted in a different thread on the Microsoft forum) but unfortunately it fails :( . It says "unknown error has occured. Error 0x800c0006".
Any idea how i can install Movie Maker?
