For a long time, whenever I open Windows Movie Maker (actually now called My Movie), an old project appears on the project screen. I cannot get rid of this project on this home screen. How would I make it so that Windows Movie Maker comes up without this old project coming back up every time?

I am using windows 10 and Windows Live Mail.
Upon opening WLM I have recently experienced failure notices when the programme try's to download new emails.
I have reinstalled MS Essentials 2012 a few times.
Occasionally WLM would fully open and download, but mostly it would fail.
But now, upon opening WLM, it downloads new messages, but then it appears to proceed to a loop whereby the Inbox "unread" number clocks up by "1" every second, indefinitely but no further emails are arriving; ie it appears to be in a loop.
I can send emails through WLM without problems.
Any comments would be gratefully received!!
When I try to upload movie on facebook from windows movie maker it asks to me to select resolution and after selecting one of the resolution it starts retrieving info after that nothing comes up and I am not able to upload video on facebook. Can someone suggest what is going wrong in uploading process?
