I have a Dell Desktop and was running windows 10  using the non supported windows live mail app. (no longer available for download)

The desktop was hacked or spyware caused it to fail and the only way to get some of it back was to do a Dell Reset on it.

It kept most all folders and documents but all of the apps were gone as was my WLM account.

In that account I have many things stored under subs in the drafts folder, information I had at my fingertips about autos , serial numbers etc.

I set up a new account on Windows 10 , a pop3 account, that I have to use because it is what all my customers friends and relatives have used for almost 20 years.

I will have to get used to it as it works different than the WLM account  but I would like to try to import the files and folders from my WLM account to this new account someway?

I know they must be hidden on the PC but  don't know where or how I would do that.

I really need to keep the pop3 account because I see no way of using my email address with something like a .com , Gmail, or .live account?

my account has the IP name in the address and ends in a .net

 I appreciate any help.

I can turn Speech Recognition on but cannot train it or anything else. I have latest version of Windows 10. Cortina works well. Thanks for any help. Lewis King

Whenever I try to open an image, the standard W10 app I use opens once and when I try to open another image a little while later it just doesn't work. I get no error messages, troubleshooting does not help and at this point it almost looks like my computer only allows me to open one image every time I boot it up.

What I need answers on here is that using the Windows Live Mail client, not the Microsoft email client, while it provides users to sync with their Microsoft account with Hotmail, apparently isn't recognizing the fact that I had changed my password with my Hotmail account recently, and I don't understand it when I did that, and Microsoft verified my changes, and on the browser website for Microsoft, I was able to log in with the new password, which was a "fix" for my Microsoft a month ago, which I had to wait for Microsoft to send me a "code" in order to "fix" my Microsoft account, which perturbs me to no end as to why Microsoft makes you wait ONE MONTH to get that code to "fix" your account!  But, today was the day that Microsoft allowed me a code to fix my account with them, and was able to do so.  Now while on my laptop, a Lenovo, using Windows 10, I now was able to load in my emails with my Hotmail and Gmail accounts on the Microsoft email client.  But, while I had to wait a month before I was able to use that email client, I downloaded and programmed my personal email accounts that had POP accounts onto the Windows Live Mail client which was all set and working properly; except for using a provided synch'd email using Hotmail that Windows Live Mail has in its upper right window to get user's hotmail emails.  Since today after I reset my password, and that Microsoft accepted the change of password and aptly provided me to use its email client using both Hotmail & Gmail accounts, I thought I'd try that using Windows Live Mail as explained above.  Every time I tried to log on with my new hotmail account password that was changed today and accepted by Microsoft, it kept stating that my password (and/or user name) were "incorrect" and to try another account or to use the "Forgot password" to get a new one.  I DO NOT want to do that as I had already CHANGED that Hotmail password as of today,  January 26, 2018, which was the day that Microsoft was to send me a "code" in order to fix my hotmail and gmail accounts.  But the Windows Live Mail client does NOT recognize my new password for my Hotmail account and I am NOT able to log on to that account for some strange reason!  However, I am using now the Microsoft Mail client and can get both my Hotmail and Gmail emails, just on a different client.  I still use Windows Live Mail for my other POP3 email accounts.  I just can't log on when in Windows Live Mail to the Microsoft Hotmail account.  Do you "techies" now understand my dilemma?

Each time I selected the photos to share and tapped on the "share" command, it would just say I was getting photos ready. After that nothing. I was expecting outlook to pop up with the selected photos attached. Then I started with outlook and couldn't find the file that contains the Photos.  I would appreciate some help.

Thank you,

Tom

I would love to be able to create a distribution list in Windows 10 Mail.  To send out messages to my distribution list I now have to go to my Yahoo mail to be able to do this.  I do not have Office but have set my default mail to MAIL yet, depending where I am working from,  if I try to send something I get this "there is no default mail set up".  Hmm?

Moved from: Office / Unknown/other  / Windows 10 /Unknown/other
