Question about Outlook Express

I cannot open Windows live Photo Gallery. I get this pop-up C:\\Windows\system32\d3d10_1.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try Installing the program again using the original installation media ro contact your support system administrator or the software vendor for support.

If I open the folder that contains all of my picture and I double click on one to view it in Photo Gallery, I get this error message: "Windows Live Photo Gallery encountered an error loading WLXPhotoViewer.dll and cannot start. Error Code 0x800700c1. I tried to do a repair on Windows Live Essentials 2011 in my Control Panel/Uninstall a Program, but it gets to about 80% complete and then says I have lost internet connection, which I haven't because I'm on the internet, and then when I click on "retry" nothing happens. 

I have of course first Googled my error response and it seems like there a lot of people who have had this same error. This is where I learned to first try to repair Windows Live Essentials, but as you can see, that didn't work for me. I also tried to run an auto-fix program here, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/944221/en-us   but that doesn't seem to exist anymore. 

If anyone has anything else I could try, I would greatly appreciate it!

I also get an error message each time I go into Windows Live Mail, about not being able to connect to Windows Live Calendar. I tried logging out of Live Mail with the button you described, but that removes all of my Contacts info.

Is there a way around this?

Where can I download Windows Essentials or Windows Live Mail?

The wayback machine has two English versions of the full installer for Windows Essentials 2012.

 

Universal English:

If one doesn't work, try the other.

I uinstalled Windows Essentials 2012 and then installed it from the wayback machine link provided.  My problem is that I still keep getting the following error code:

0x800C0155

"your windows data is currently being used by another program, such as virus scanner, close the program or wait for it to complete its operation, then open windows live mail again".

I cannot close it, and do anything at all.  I am not sure what this means.  Can you assist?  I can't view my emails and the live mail doesn't open.

I use Windows Movie Maker version 2.6. The way that I make my "slides" for a movie is that I use the Graphics Program Paint Shop Pro. 

I make a slide with a photo in it and some text and it is size 1024 width x 768 height to fit my computer screen resolution.

The problem I am having though, is that both when I try to play the movie as I am creating it in Windows Movie Maker and also when the movie is all done and I try to play it in Windows Media player or whatever player program, the slides appear to be stretched out and blurry, because they are stretched. 

Can anybody please help me with this problem?
