Question about Outlook Express

I am having trouble with Windows Movie Maker - I usually use it to edit all of my videos, but it is causing me quite a bit of hassle this time. I edited an hour of a four hour long video last night, with the pictures and audio being completely separate files. I go to open it up today, and the audio won't load with the video. I can remove the audio and add in literally any other audio clips into the thing and it works, I can remove the clips and add in any other clips and it will work, but for some reason the already saved file I had of the edited files will not work together, unless I am to re edit the entire thing. I have tried closing and re-opening the application several times, but to no avail - I have even tried removing the audio clip and, instead of adding a different audio file to see if it would work with it, adding back the normal audio file - and still, nothing. I have never encountered this problem before, and I can't find anyone else online who has had this problem either. Please help.

I have been using live mail for several years on windows 10 and all of a sudden i can't send mail. I can only receive mail. I contacted my email server and was told settings are correct. here is error code

Can someone please tell me how I can increase or extend the length of pause between slides ot two slides in a slideshow? At the moment there is no pause at all between my slides, as one is followed immediately after the one preceding it.

I'm getting a pop-up screen that says it's from Microsoft Support and LOOKS legitimate but I'm not sure.

It says it's a Microsoft windows update---Microsoft patch.

how do I know it's ok?

I had to reset my laptop to factory setting, and  lost all my email contacts. Is there a way I can import some of them from the previous  laptop . It is running windows 7 livemail,  to win 10 Mail

I have windows 10 on a one year old Dell laptop. The Photos app is a source of constant frustration. Recently it has stopped recognizing which pictures it has already imported from my camera (or directly from SD card). In addition it doesn't ever download them in the order they were taken, but mixes up older with the new from the same SD card. The Album and Folder features are also frustrating to use. I cannot deal with the fact that pictures are put into albums for me with little control as to how they are shown. I would like to store my pictures as picture files in a folder I name myself, in a location I decide, and in the order they were taken, with the correct date and time. 

Is this too much to ask? Is it too simple or too complicated for the wizards at Microsoft? Have they become so enamored with their own idiosyncratic ways that they can't think like a normal consumer anymore? Computers were supposed to help us do more things ourselves. I find myself being able to do less and less myself, except the things the machine is telling me to do.
