I've watched the tutorial on this but can't find the settings as described, using Firefox, gmail, or hotmail. I am sick of the pop ups telling me I have mail; I know that already.
Yesterday Microsoft did an update and all my e-mails and my contact list disappeared from Windows Live Mail. There was some very important information on these e-mails and that was why they had been saved. Is there any way to have these e-mails and contact list restored?

Heya,
I have got problem with Video Maker which I downloaded from Microsoft store, when im opening the program, the window of VM show up, but after 4 seconds, instead running, the window is closing. Same thing happens when I want to open skype (used skype for years, but I stopped becouse of this).

I have lost all my contacts. The display is different with my favorites and photos all gone. What do I do. Very annoying.
Updates on win 7 and crash/format/re-install, I have lost my ability to use outlook. I did download live mail 2012. My only contact folder is in win contact format which will not import (not a csv, wab or vcf). how have others handled similar situation?
Whenever I try to download something from the Windows Store (Windows 8.1) it gives me the following error message:
Something happened and your purchase can't be completed. (Error code: 0xc03f300d)

Why does Windows Live Mail keep ask for user name and password for every email i send and receive.

I just want the emails to go when I send them and arrive in my inbox when they arrive.
