Can’t send emails from Outlook for mac 2011 but can receive

I am just setting up a new IMAP account in Outlook for mac 2011.  

I'm using SiteGround as my server and they have advised that I need to put the following in the incoming and outgoing server field: securesgp18.sgcpanel.com

So far I can receive emails but for some reason all emails I try and send just sit in my outbox.

Can someone advise if this is because of the outgoing server information?  One of my friends said that in the outgoing server section is should relate to my wifi settings but i'm not computer whizz and I desperately need this to work!

Any help would be gratefully received

Windows Live Mail import error

Hello everybody!

I've came across an interesting error. I've had imported a lot of letters from an old PC, to a newer one with Win 7 Pro.

When the Windows Live Mail finished importing, some of the attachments had the extension " ._ " .

For example: oldletter.doc --> oldletter._doc.

After downloading an oldletter._doc and deleting the "_" in the extension the file can be opened, but this method is a bit complicated for the user of the PC.

What could be the cause of the problem, and how can I solve it?

Outlook for Mac 2011, error #MBR1212 when setting up AT&T email

About a year ago, I successfully set up my bellsouth.net account on Outlook for Mac 2011 using AT&T settings, and recently it has stopped working. I get a message that I have incorrect user name and password.

I tried just re-entering the password in the pop-up window; but it does not work

I tried re-adding the bellsouth.net account using AT&T recommended settings for POP and even tried IMAP out of desperation: 

>> inbound/outbound.att.net, 995/465, SSL

>> imap/smtp.mail.att.net, 993/465, SSL

No success either way, I keep getting error #MBR1212.

When I try using the yahoo servers (pop/smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com 995/465, SSL) it works, but it re-downloads fresh, unread copies of all my old emails in the web account... I already have multiple copies; so I don't want to use these settings...

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Windows Live Mail – NOT working! Cannot get help from Microsoft

Windows 7 - Windows Live Mail not working -

First my messages were not being sent outbound -

WLM error 0X800CCCOE

SMTP

PORT 465

SOCKET ERROR 10061

CONNECTION TO SERVER FAILED

I then moved my message back to the inbox, opened it and sent it again - now, for the past 3 hours, my message is still sitting in the

OUTBOX - TASK TAB SAYS "send message - status shows executing - and the message is just sitting there.

I called ATT/U-Verse and they say its a Microsoft problem and gave me an 800 but the jerks at MS just hung up on me - never any help from this company anyway, why am I not surprised.

So I went to the microsoft.com/support site (another big joke) - nothing there to help me.  When I tried to follow instructions and go to START to do the next steps, the error box message with my email just sitting there going nowhere, doing nothing, kept appearing on my screen. 

START, WINDOWS LIVE MAIL, TOOLS, ACCOUNTS - I have been trying for 35 minutes and I cannot get there from here.

Can somebody tell me how to fix this stupid problem so I can use my email again?

What horrible changes/updates has Microsoft done to my computer this time to wreck everything and how can it be fixed?

Hi,

Have Windows live mail for emails

Am using a sage accounting software and attempted to email an invoice.

It says if I want to send as HTML attachment , this will preserve format,

Click yes and

keep getting

The report could not be sent. Please check your email program.

The error code reported was 2.

If I click no and send just as text, the invoice  has some lines

not quite in the right allignment

WINDOWS 10 PHOTO GALLERY

I AM HAVING A HARD TIME WITH WINDOWS 10 PHOTO GALLERY.  ALL OF MY PICTURES ARE SO MIXED UP THAT I DON'T KNOW WHERE MANY OF THEM ARE.  EXAMPLE:  I OPEN THE "ARIZONA SKIES" FOLDER AND I FIND ANIMALS AND OTHER THINGS ALONG WITH THE ARIZONA SKIES PICTURES.  I GO THROUGH THE LINE OF FOLDERS AND THEN COME ACROSS THE SAME FOLDERS BELOW AND ABOVE THEM.  I AM GOING CRAZY.  NOW I HAVE 2 NEW PICTURES THAT I WANT TO EDIT AND CROP BUT CAN'T FIND ANYTHING TELLING ME WHERE TO GO OR WHAT TO DO.  I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.....  WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?????

ALSO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO CHECK ON CATEGORY BELOW, BUT HAD  TO CHOOSE SOMETHING - I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS.....

mails are not saving in my send folder of Window live mail

Dear Team,

Greetings!!!!

I am using window live mail..... I am able to send and receive the mails. But while sending mail, mails are not saving in my send folder. I go to option ---> send ----> selected "Save copy of sent massage in to sent item folder" 

While accessing mail from web page i can see my all mails are saved in sent folder but while using window live mail can't save/download the same.

Please help.

I updated from 8.1 to 10 .... not a happy camper. Anyway, photo gallery now continues to have a problem that cannot be identified and shuts down each time I open it.
