Question about Outlook Express

Just setup WLMail with four of my Gmail accounts.

WLMail automatically set them up as IMAP accounts and now is trying to download all (11,000+) the messages on the Gmail server.

I don't want it to do that - just load the new messages. 

I think you can do that with account set up as POP. Anyway to do it with the IMAP?

Anyone help?

I had two accounts. One day after an update one of the accounts stopped working giving me an error code that i cannot remember.

both accounts download from the same server different user names one is personal the other is work.

the work account was the only one that gave me the error.

I went on the forums and fixed windows essentials, did work. deleted the account and added it back on, did not work. Uninstalled windows essential and re-installed it did not work.

I tried downloading other email programs and all have the same problem with the same work account.

On an old laptop computer with windows XP both accounts work perfectly.

So I upgraded to windows 10 thinking that it would solve the problem.

the personal account syncs fine, the work account shows the new emails but when i click on download message, it gets stuck thinking and never downloads. 

I have access to the work account on my smart phone and it syncs fine, so i know its not the server, the old laptop with XP syncs fine too. 

I think it has something to do windows as no other 3rd party email program will sync with work email please help.

I don't know if this is were I have to report or ask this, but maybe someone can help me sort this out.

My emails in windows live mail 2010 are good yesterday and still in the same folder.
When I open my Windows Live Mail this morning.
All of my emails are gone in their folders. even in storage folder that located to default location.
So I browse it and found out, it was all save to imported folder and named another folder by the date today. 09-08-2015.

I was grateful that it was safe and still can be opened.

The issue is, how come it goes there unnoticed? Did I do something wrong? and what it maybe?

I've downloaded Windows Live Movie maker since I wasn't getting the darn Audio Edit Tab at the top.

I currently have what seems to be a nerfed version of Windows Live Movie Maker just called, "Movie Maker".

First I couldn't find the program, Windows Live Movie Maker, itself, then when I found it the Program files said "Unavailable".

All I want to do is edit some music to the beginning of my video. Cut it down to 30 seconds and then fade it out so it doesn't play over or under the narration on my video.

I did allow the darn down-loader to install the whole package of "Windows Live Essentials" but to not have a desktop Icon for all the newly installed components/Programs ... I'm lost as to why Windows would do this.

It's like they don't want anyone to use the very items they have you download.

How do I get a functioning copy of Windows Live Movie Maker?

And then how in the world do I find it and get a Desktop Short Cut so I can use it regularly without having to hunt it down everytime?

Also, I just had my computer updated to Windows 10 and this seems to be making a significant difference, it totally reworked the desktop interface and many icons, along with making it more difficult to use many programs. It's hidden many "buttons" so to speak and made it darn near impossible to find anything, even within the very programs once you do find them and get them open and running.

So just so everyone knows, I don't know if a fix will work unless you know about how to work with Windows 10.

I just hope I don't have to revert back to the earlier version of 8 just so I can use the one editing program I need to use.
