I cant get my email to connect with Windows live. It keeps telling me that my username and password are incorrect.
I have deleted and reinstalled email account with two different emails.
I configured the gmail settings for pop/imap.
I have restarted computer.
I have confirmed my password is indeed correct.

Hi,
today I wanted to send an e-mail message through Win live mail, but it doesn't work: Win. Live Error: 0x80CCC7D comes up and it sais: Server does not support SSL connection.
I contacted my new internet provider and they suggested to change from IMAP server to POP, but for some reasons, that doesn't work on my comp. IMAP is highlighted but the Backspace button to erase it and put in POP doesn't work. I can receive all messages, but not send. does anyone know a solution?
Thanks in advance for your help!!!
Greetings Sonja

tell application "Microsoft Outlook"
make new signature with properties {name:"test1", content:"<html>test</html>"}
end tell
However, when I run this code I get the following error:
error "The variable signature is not defined." number -2753 from "signature"
Please help.

I know this has been addressed before, but I did not get a solution. I bought a new computer that has W8.1, which is upgrade for me from my Windows 7.
I have been using Windows LIve Mail for years and have set it up many times because of different computers, different servers, etc, but this is a new one on me. At the time I downloaded Windows Live Mail, I also downloaded Messenger. When I went to import my contacts, I discovered I already have a whole lot of contacts. Some I almost didn't recognize, and the import feature is not working. I didn't even recognize most of the contacts for about ten minutes, then realized they were many years old and are from Messenger. Heck, two of the contacts are even DEAD!
I do not think I elected to have my messenger contacted imported, and if I did, I'd sure like to undo it, but the program won't let me delete them. I saved my WLM important info for importing to this computer and would like to restore my mail to a usable condition. But not with these funky contacts.
Please help, thanks, JJ
In properties/advanced, the option to " Leave a copy of messages on server " is not available. Why?
Thanks Geoff
