I know there have been many threads on this -
and it appeared that last update cured the problem for most - but...
I update my new Imac to el capitan weeks ago - immediately had an issue with outlook and spinning rainbow wheels.. the recommended service pack cured my outlook issues and I seemed to be operating fine. Recently I cleaned up my macbook pro and set it up at my home office - el capitan already downloaded I proceeded to download the service pack then installed exchange...
that was 3 days ago... No error codes just continually downloading and syncing ( 3 days without the computer going to sleep )
additionally me imac that was working great now has the same symptoms and while it tries to sync I am not receiving new emails
both machines are up to date with v14.5.8
and I know my exchange is working correctly because webmail, iphone and ipad are all sync'd
Microsoft wants a $500 fee to look at the problem??! you would think as soon as I said el capitan and office 2011 they would waive that
anyone know of any recent fixes.. everything I have seen here is dated early October?
thank you

Can't receive emails in my msn account. Can receive emails in my gmail account & live.com account. How can I fix this situation? I've tried everything that I know of.

11/27/2015 For several weeks now, I've been getting the same error message on my desktop computer Windows 8.1, Using Windows live Mail when receiving mail. I have no issues Sending Mail, it only gets hung up Receiving Mail. And eventually, it will work, but I get the same error message over and over, until finally it downloads. I cannot find help anywhere else and have tried over and over. This is the exact message I get:

Hello,
I wanted to integrate a Gmail-account in Windows Live Mail, but when I get an email or copy an email from a different account into this Gmail folder he automatically makes a copy on the Gmail server. I don't want that, I want my emails only in the Live Mail, but I didn't find the correct button yet. With other accounts it works fine...
Is there a function to keep my mails in the Live mail on my computer or is that impossible with Gmail?
Thank you!
Regards,
Stefan
