I recently purchased a new computer with Windows 10. I downloaded Windows live mail which I had been using for some time on a different computer. I received all my mail right away and that was good for a couple of days. Suddenly I could not receive any new mail for the past three days. My correct username and password was not accepted.

Using Windows Live Essentials 2012 with the 12/17 update on Windows 10. Just changed it to use IMAP instead of HTTP.
Sent messages are being duplicated after doing that. Tried various Sent folder synchronization settings but they do not change the behavior.
What is going on and how can the duplicate Sent messages be avoided?
I have been trying to setup email on outlook for 2 months off and on. Had outlook express with windows 7 before I upgraded to windows 10. Shortly after upgrade computer looked up after an update and I lost all my software applications. Have been able to restore most but cannot get email to work. What to do
I can't sign on to my hotmail email. Keeps saying incorrect password. This email account used to work just fine. I know I am missing a lot of emails. Someone please help!!!
