So I installed "K-Lite Codec Pack 11.8.5 Basic" so I could open MP4 files in Movie Maker, but it only opens some MP4 files.

Files encoded with "lavf57.14.100" does not prepare; only files encoded with "lavf56.40.101."

The problem is I don't see any option to change the encoder in the program I am using (which is OBS Multiplatform 0.13.1-rc1).

Any help would be apprecaited! Thanks!

In Windows 10 Photo Gallery, when you click on a photo there is a menu for editing . There is an option to resize, but when you choose that option, it gives you the sizes you prefer, click and save to that size, the new size numbers appears on the photo, a new photo pops up, but it is still the same as you started with. Am I missing something?  I love that the option is right there and so badly want it to WORK.

I tried sending Shaw emails to somebody’s Outlook live account:

Setup Email in Windows Live Mail

https://community.shaw.ca/docs/DOC-2113

After connecting, it says “update in progress”, but it seems to be stuck on that.
When you click on edit, the default ports are 110 and 587.

I instead tried what was on the Shaw documentation page:

POP Settings

Incoming server information
Server type    POP
Server address    pop.shaw.ca
User Name    Shaw email without @shaw.ca
Password    Your email password
Security type    SSL
Port    995

Outgoing server information
Server address    mail.shaw.ca
User Name    Shaw email without @shaw.ca
Password    Your email password
Security type    TLS
Port    587
-    -

(There is only one encryption field, so I guessed SSL).

It still gives you an “update in progress”.

Gmail on the other hand seems to work fine.
I think that I only had to put the Shaw email and password.

POP.shaw.ca and 995 is put in for you.

Also, if you decide to enable the option of being labelled as Shaw when you send a message, the following information is filled.

>Secured connection on port 587 using TLS

Instead of Outlook Live’s “update in progress”, Gmail shows status updates after you connect an account:

>Last checked: 19 minutes ago.200 mails fetched.View history  161 mails remaining.

I tried sending my Gmail account emails to my Outlook live account, and it worked:

I’m confused as to why I have a different “connecting additional email accounts” page than that person in the first example (sending Shaw mails to Outlook live).

On the top left for me, it says outlook.com.
For him, it says outlook mail (preview).

I cannot open Outlook in Microsoft Office MAC 2011.  It requests the product key and when I insert that it comes up that it is not valid even though it is.  How can I get Outlook to work again.  I have a lot of saved information, ie. Contacts that I need from there along with other information.  If I reinstall Microsoft Office MAC 2011 will I lose documents I have previously saved?

Bernadette

I just opened my outlook for Mac 2011 and I keep getting this message: Microsoft Outlook must be closed because an error occurred. Any unsaved work may be lost.

What do I do? Is there a fix for this?

Thank you

Not receiving emails in Outlook for Mac 2011. Sending is okay so am connected to the web. Using outlook.com for web mail service.

What is the current correct name for the incoming server on outlook.com? Surfing the web comes up with

pop3.live.com (original setting)

pop3.outlook.com

pop-mail.outlook.com (microsoft setting on the net and what is currently setting on my machine)

pop.outlook.com (recommended setting in outlook for mac help section)

Tried all of them and still no luck.

Also how long do I have to wait to hit send/receive before I can hit again? Isn't there a 15 minute interval?

Thanks

Hi,

I keep getting the above message and can't send and maybe can't receive emails. Thanks ahead of time.
