Hi
I am having problems with the Windows Live Essentials (WLE) and the web based calendar as they are not syncing. Is there any way I can back up the entries for both versions of the calendar?
It looks as though WLE has a limited life? Would I be better off if I was to use the calendar that came bundled with Microsoft Office 2010? This includes Outlook 2010 - but have never bothered using it.

I have run Windows Live Mail on my desktop PC for some time and I have built up quite a large file of deleted emails that I wish to retain. I installed WLM on my laptop so I could use it when I was away from home. However when I start the program on my laptop it downloads all those deleted emails. I tried to remove them as they arrived but there were too many of them, so I shut WLM down.
Is there some way to prevent those old emails being downloaded?

Original Title: Windows Live Mail
Sometimes my Windows Live Mail opens without the "Ribbon" at the top and the only way I can view it is to close the programme and re-open. I can't just click on the down arrow at the top right of the screen because even that doesn't show.

Hi All,
I recently copy the live mail folder to a new PC, and copy to subfolders into new PC's live mail inbox folder.
All email is recovered. However, the sub folder name does not appear completely. For example, a sub folder original "Peter 2010 expenses", but it only show "Peter 2Qao". Some of the sub folder are in Chinese.
How can I restore the full name of the sub folders? Can I read them from old Mail.MSMessageStore?
Thanks!

(a) Hoe do I DISCONTINUE use of MS Live Mail and REPLACE it with G-Mail?
(b) Is it better to use Auto Tranfering OR to open a new G-mail account and manualy transfer wanted e-mail contacts, to 'spring-clean' my user base?
