Question about Outlook Express

How can I move my contacts to a new computer? My old computer has Win 10 & Windows Live Mail 2012 as does the new computer.

I back up using Carbonite and was able to download Windows Live Mail to my new computer; but, my contacts did not make the trip. 

I read about saving the contacts as a .cvc file; but, there is no way to do that. I have close to 500 contacts and do not want to copy them out by hand if I can avoid it. Thank you

I am unsuccessfully attempting to sync my address book (contacts) on my PC and Laptop.  Both are using Windows 10 and Windows Live Mail (2012 on the PC and 2009 on Laptop).  Both work just fine.  I use primarily POP mail (as opposed to web-mail) and download the mail to my PC.  The only time i download mail to my laptop is when I am traveling, but I leave a copy on the various mail servers for future download to my PC.

Since my PC is my primary computer, it has the latest updates to my address book (I guess the current term is contacts).  I want to update the address book/contacts in my laptop to be identical to my PC.  Failing to find any other way to do so, I tried exporting the addresses as a .csv file which I share (synced) to my laptop.  In my mail program on the laptop I attempted to import the contacts.  For some unknown reason, the import appears to be failing.  I say that because the window pops up and says import in progress and the bright "light" moves across the blue band suggesting something is happening.  However, after 20 minutes, nothing seems to be happening.

After cancelling the import, I found I apparently had a Windows 10 Update in the queue.  I let that install and tried again.  Same result.  I have rebooted.  Same result.

I have read on-line that Windows Live Mail should sync automatically...clearly not happening -- and/or I don't now how to make it do that. 

So, how long should it take for contacts to import?  How can I get this accomplished?

cannot send or receive e-mail with windows live,error message-0x8de00005 keeps popping up/please help

No AVI or MP4 Files work in Windows Live Movie Maker. They are black with NO sound. I tried adding videos made a couple of months ago back into windows live movie maker, and it says they are corrupted or in a format windows live movie maker doesn't recognize even though they are wmv files. Once I put in an avi or mp4 it has to "prepare video" and after that its just black with no sound. The recording software I use is called Action! I tried not exporting the files and it didn't recognize them (they are avi) and I tried exporting them as AVI and mp4s and like I said, they didn't work. Any help is appreciated!
