Question about Outlook Express

My email has been working fine for at least 12 months perfect, I get up today and get this message all day:

Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.

The windows live mail error ID is 0x800CCC0E

This is not for a gmail account.

I WAS NEARLY FINISHED EDITING AN 1HR MOVIE & MOVIE MAKER SAID IT HAD AN ERROR & NEEDED TO SHUT DOWN. WHEN I REOPENED MOVIE MAKER & TRIED TO OPEN THE PROJECT, IT NOW SAYS IT CANT FIND THE SPECIFIED FILE & IT MAY HAVE CORRUPTED. WHERE CAN I LOOK TO FIND THIS BLOODY FILE OR EARLIER SAVED VERSION OF THE DAY??????

OP - WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER

I have used Windows Live Mail happily up to about 2 weeks ago. Now at start up it just hangs with the blue icon going round and round ... a bit like my head right now.

I have to use Task Manager to make it stop. Then I have to go to Windows Essentials and use Repair and restart the computer. That fixes it for a few times then I am back to square one.

I don't want to fiddle with things too much as I am not that clever, but what can I do to make WLM work again as it should. My operating system is Windows 10.

Every single time I try to run the installer for Windows Live Essentials 2011, I get the error 0x8104000d Source: WaitForCatalog, saying I'm not connected to the internet, even though I am. I'm trying to install Movie Maker 2011.

I already followed the directions the "Get Help" button linked me to. It did nothing.

If it matters, I tried the 2012 version first and then uninstalled it completely.

I really hope there's a way to make it work, because the 2012 Movie Maker is even more rubbish than the 2011 one, but at least the 2011 one is (normally) usable.

I had an old email account that I used to link some social media accounts for my blog to. I never used the email for anything else. This was last year. Now, I want to get into my Twitter account, and I can't retrieve my password because it is linked to my Windows Live account, and I am locked out. I have been asked on multiple times to fill out the form to change passwords, and of course, I don't know any subject lines or folders in the email because it was used for nothing more than social media, and all those emails were sent years ago. I have been trying to remember my password, but I don't remember it and I would really like to access my Live email. The email is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. The emails being sent to this address were automatically forwarded to a now-defunct email *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. 

This just feels like way too much trouble and I've grown thoroughly annoyed with Live and their tech support (LACK THEREOF). 

Please help me. I want to delete my Twitter account as it has not been used in quite some time, and I can't do that without my email account (I've tried speaking with their terrible service, as well).

I have just opened Windows Live Mail (something I do many times a day) but this time all my categories are missing.

I had around 30 different categories for sending group emails but now they are all gone, apart from one.  All my contacts are there but none of the categories.  How can I restore them without having to tediously re-create them?
