Unable to send or recieve emails from Windows Live Mail

Original Title: Windows Live Mail

I have used Windows Live Mail for several years with no major issues requiring support.  However, in the last 48 hours or so I have been unable to receive email even though I can still send it.  I recollect reading a few weeks ago that Microsoft plans to make changes to Live Mail but I have seen nothing regarding this since and am wondering if this could be the source of my problem.  Since Microsoft doesn't give tech support for Live Mail, I'm at a standstill.  I have a Windows 7 operating system and have had no recent changes in hardware or software.  Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 10/1511, Movie Maker 2012 just updated.

I've begun my movie with static image with text, added 15 or more clips with extension .mts, edited and inserted transitions. Played and saved project all in same folder. It all worked fine last week. Today I open project, it all loads, click play and and not all of my clips are playing. They look complete in my work area, but when played or time line is slid across them they are blank/black screens. Some play correctly and some don't.

I followed advice I found to repair Windows Essentials, reopen Movie Maker but have same problem. 

I have also re-booted my machine.

Edit Plain Text Version of HTML Email Signature

Hello,

I have an HTML email signature with a linked image and linked text. When replying to plain-text emails, these hyperlinks are converted to URLs. This looks messy and I would rather not include the linked text at all. Is there a way to edit the plain-text version of the signature separately from the HTML version, similar to this: http://www.howtogeek.com/174724/how-to-modify-a-signature-for-use-in-plain-text-emails-in-outlook-2013/

I've located the signature files in /Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/Main Identity/Data Records, but unlike the files referenced in the tutorials above, these signature files have a .olk14Signature extension and no matching .txt file.

Any help here would be appreciated!

How to convert a web video link into a format WMM will accept

I used an app on my LG device to create an "into crawl" for a Windows Movie Maker project.  When I saved the video the app created, I am only able to click on the link I have for the video and watch the video in a browser. I am not able to right click and "Save AS" a format acceptable to WMM.  I think I may need a video converter but not sure which one will convert this "web link" to a format with extensions WMM accepts.  Can you suggest a good video converter and steps on how I can get this "web link address" saved as a video file?  Thanks

Windows Live Mail - all my contacts disappeared after a system update. Windows 10

Message says something like "No contacts - add a contact or log in to Windows Live Mail" and prompts for an email address.

I dunno. I set up this mail 5 years ago and I have 4 email aliases thru my cable TV / internet provider. I don't even know which of them might be my "Live Mail" ID.

Hi all, I am having problems with windows live mail installed on windows 10 for live mail essentials 2012. The headers in the email message list are half way out of the top of the individual message boxes and hence the title is clipped by about 50%. I have tried resizing the text but this still shows headers outside the top of the available space. It looks as if there is an alignment problem but cannot cannot find any method of correcting it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Windows movie maker installation problem

I am trying to install windows movie maker from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/get-movie-maker-download

But, it's not getting installed in my pc. Error - "Restart your computer"

Even after restarting device for more than 3-4 times still it's giving me the same error.

Please suggest some solution. I have windows 8.1 in my computer.
