Kinda new to this game but need some info. I record freeview programmes on a Samsung hard drive/dvd recorder. I use third party freeware to transfer dvd recordings to my laptop. Can anyone advise me on 1) transcoding dvds to mp4 then editing the results
on windows movie maker, hopefully using freeware as I am on an unforgiving budget. I should mention that I am running windows 10 on my laptop. Many thanks in advance.

Windows live mail 2012 is not working since the download of Windows 10.
A message keeps coming up that it needs to debug. After that it still does not work and closes down. I have done repair in Windows Essentials. It still does not work.

Can someone explain the differences between Windows mail, Windows Live Mail and outlook.com. Why does Microsoft have so many different mail applications? Also is Outlook.com free?
