That is, if I turn my computer off for any reason, any emails that should be available are not available when I turn it back on.  Every other email I have loads those messages and I can access them once I turn my computer on, but with WLM, they are lost forever.  Fortunately I have given all important work contacts two email addresses so I can always see the ones that WLM does not register as receiving. Thanks in advance for any help that you might be able to provide.  I appreciate it!

A lot of my out going e-mails are being deleted by Windows Live Mail because live mail thinks Jokes and videos written conversion is spam . It all started in November and has been getting worse . What the **** is going on ?

After Microsoft Support re-installed Windows 10. I lost my Windows Live Contacts List.  On using IMPORT, I ended up with a VERY old contacts list, which is so old that it is useless.  How can I locate and copy it to be the current used list?  What file names would be used for the copy operation?

Split from this thread.

There are several reasons why you might be seeing this kind of fault. To nail it down, we need to know some details:

  1. Do you use the calendar?
  2. What is the build of your version of Windows Live Mail?
To see, when viewing your message list, press Alt-F B.
  3. What version of Windows is installed?
To see, press Windows key  + R, type winver and press Enter.
  4. Has the Microsoft Account you sign in with been upgraded?
To see, visit calendar.live.com with the same account as you use to sign in in Windows Live Mail. Which of these do you see in the top left-hand corner of the window?

(It's the wording, not the colours that count)

We can't really say what's wrong or how to deal with it until we have the answers to these four questions.

1. No

2. 10586.164

3. 1511

4. No

I have same problem with multiple error messages (at least four) and has stopped on both laptop and PC.
