Microsoft and the Outlook team destroyed the STABLE Windows Live Mail Desktop 2012 ability to operate in Dec 2015 ... with not one, but TWO failed updates - that Microsoft emailed recommending users
install.
Instead of FIXING the problems they caused with Windows Live Mail Desktop 2012 Micorsoft and the Outlook team chose to simply abandon the millions of loyal users who rely on Windows Live Mail Desktop 2012
(and earlier versions) with effectively no notice.
And no - 60 days is not realistic or sufficient notice for ending the life and support of of a longstanding product.
There is NO comparable replacement product. Microsoft states one can always used Outlook.com to retrieve mail - however, this is a WEB BASED client that CAN NOT be used offline - and DOES NOT store message
locally.
The mail components of Windows 10 are also touted, however these too are seriously lacking in features and usability compared to WLMD 2012.
As has been their history for decades with the various Hotmail, Outlook Express and other debacles - Microsoft yet again is simply saying screw you to loyal users and customers.
Ironically WLMD 2012 still works for pretty much every other competitors emails - except Microsofts.
Shame on you Microsoft ... your long term customers deserve better
I challenge any of the Microsoft tech people here to refute my claims - and/or provide a comparable email client product alternative.

I'm trying to get me photos off my phone and onto my computer to give me some space on my phone but my laptop wont let me. A while ago (when I first connected my phone to my laptop) the usual notification popped up asking what I wanted to do with it but

My wife has been having problems getting a newsletter from a site. DirtDoctor.com. It's the only site that she has a problem with. The site keeps telling her to look in her spam/junk folder but nothing shows up either in her spam/junk folder or her inbox.
She did get an e-mail response from the moderator about looking in her spam/junk folder but that's the only item she's received. I've been looking everywhere but I can't find that she's ever received any of the weekly newsletters and I'm wondering if there's
anything that could be blocking from this 1 source. I did check her blocked sender list and they're not in there. Hope someone has a suggestion. Thanks
I downloaded an e bridge driver for the Toshiba Studio3500c fax to connect it with my Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 laptop and unzipped the package but their does not seem to be any option key to install it.
Does anybody know how these 20 files can be uploaded & installed because windows don't respond with the demo because they have stopped support for Vista & XP now? the demo page no loger exists
When I put my Windows 10 PC into Sleep mode, it stays there for about five minutes. The PC then momentarily wakes up by itself (for about five seconds) and then goes into Hibernate mode, (the sleep indicator stops flashing). This has suddenly started happening and is not coincident with any update or download. I have tried Chat lines with Microsoft Techs. and every possible combination of Power Management options, all of no avail. sfc/scan shows no problems. Wake timers have been disabled, and there are no devices allowed to wake the PC up. I can still wake from Hibernate with no problem, the annoying difference is the lack of the flashing Sleep mode indicator.
Anyone got any possible solutions. I draw the line at reinstalling drivers as I am not that competent.

I use Office 2007 on Windows 10, works just fine. Will I still be able to use Outlook 2007 to access my Outlook.com email after the upgrade in June?
