The export to .csv from WLM to import to Outlook.com contacts is simply not working.

I have mapped all the fields to match the template from Outlook.com, and then I have copied all my contacts in and rearranged them to sit under the correct fields.

It still says the .csv document is not correct, or its empty, which is untrue.

What next?  I'm not reading all the help on this topic because it gets me mixed up.

So, I await someone to help me figure out why

a)  EVERYONE has trouble, not just me.

You are forcing me to shift from WLM to MS Outlook 2016, at the same trying to adjust to Outlook.com and Windows 10.

WLM has been my most favorite email client for many years, and far surpasses MS Outlook 2010, Outlook Mail App, and Outlook.com.  If you followed that last sentence, you get the booby prize.

I have been told that a message to me has been rejected because of my mailbox quota. What is this and what can I do to rectify this.

Hello,

Why is Outlook 2011 for Mac 'Database' file located in:

Documents > Microsoft User Data > Office 2011 Identities > Main Identity

NOT backed up by Time Machine?

This is the first time I have ever encountered a file not backed up by Time Machine??   I have no restrictions to prevent that happening.

All the records in:

Documents > Microsoft User Data > Office 2011 Identities > Main Identity > DATA RECORDS

ARE backed up

but NOT the DATABASE file under > Main Identity.

This has made Time Machine effectively useless to rely upon for backups of Office as you have to rebuild the identity from a Time Machine backup (which does not work in my case).

So now I am having to manually backup my Main Identity file every day so that I can restore from it if there is another crash in my Outlook 2011, which seems unbelievably ridiculous because this DATABASE file can simply be copied from a backup into the Main Identity again and it works.   So why won't Time Machine do the same and back it up and restore in the same manner?

Kind regards,

Mike

Hi,

I have some unread emails that won't open and I can't do anything with them.  I can't move, delete, read, etc.  Some of the emails have what looks like a shopping bag icon next to them.

When I highlight the message, I get this in the message pane.

Message could not be displayed

Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

Help, I'm sooooooo confused.

I have recently re-installed Windows Live Mail 2012

When I try to get in I often get the following error:

This is usually after I have accessed successfully at least once.

Any ideas anyone?

When I am able to access Windows Live Mail I get the following error:

I receive all e-mails OK but when I click on New Mail nothing happens.

Does anyone know what this means and how can I fix it please?

Thanks,

Charlie Simpson

I recently reverted my operating system from 10 back to 7 because 10 didn't function the way I needed it to. Since then my windows live mail and calculator will not open, when I try to repair the windows live essential 2011 pack it says that my computer is not connected to the internet but it actually is. Is there anyone who is able to explain why this is happening.

Thanks

I use Windows live mail and have always been able to view and listen to videos I received.  Recently something has changed.  I can view the video but there is no sound.  These are videos I've received on my Samsung phone then sent to my email account.  Thanks!
