I was running windows 7 on wireless network with latest updates(6-16-16) 64bit windows live mail.

Upgraded to windows 10 with WLM. Ran fine for 3 days then would not open. WLM was somehow corrupted. Did reboot, same result. Tried to uninstall and reinstall. Could not uninstall.

Reverted to windows 7. Tried various cleanups with wlarp.exe. Removed windows essentials one program at a time, all uninstalled fine except WLM. Latest msg is: cound not uninstall WLM errorcode

0x8007064c wlmime filter amd64.

Any ideas? Thanks

I need Windows Live Mail to remain the same including all the 60-odd sub-folders with thousands of mails neatly sorted. Can I expect this to happen?

Or is it rather likely that I won't be able to access them any more?

Anything I can do to retain WLM as it is?

Thank you!

Susanne

Answer to number of questions  on why I am unable to sync Windows Live Mail in Windows 10:

 My email server is POP3

I am using Windows Live Mail 2012 and it is my primary account

Problem is I have attempted to sync WLM  with Windows 10 Mail App on new laptop.

Most of time I get "not yet synced"  on one occasion there was an error code: 0X8007274C.

Thanks again for help from anyone!!!!!

I am running Windows 10 Pro and want to use Outlook.com as my email app...per Microsoft's warning about outlook accounts impending discontinuation of outlook accounts support.  I currently use Windows Live Mail 2012 and have MANY storage folders with hundreds of saved emails that I can not lose.  2 questions...

1.  Will my emails from my email servers (one POP3 email account ...@mchsi.com and one Microsoft HTTP email account ...@msn.com) still be accessible in Windows Live Mail 2012 after July 1, 2012?  If I will be able to receive my email, then I'm through here.  If the emails will cease via the WLM 2012 app then I have 1 more question.

2 .   How do I export my storage folders and messages to the Microsoft Exchange from my WLM 2012 app?  Now, if I try to export using the export function in WLM.  When I choose to export the messages and folders to a Microsoft Exchange format I keep getting the

following message...

How do I tackle this problem?

Thanks,

Steven Haberkorn

So I created a video in Movie Maker and it all sounds and looks good when in Movie Maker. All sounds are at the level I want and need them at, and all cuts and edits are made.

I saved the the movie to my computer and it's a working MP4 video. The only thing is, at one random point, the audio just sort of lowers itself. I have watched this multiple times, waited a while and opened the video again. Re-saved and still the audio drop is always at the exact same time.

In the movie maker there is no audio drop. It's only in the saved video. Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix it? I would rather not have to redo this video.

I recorded audio in both mp3 and WMV using a blue snowball. the audio quality is flawless on media player and on the preview but when I save the video with the audio it becomes static and fuzzy in the background noise. it sounds pretty bad to me. I wish it would be perfect because now I noticed on my youtube videos the background noise and its too late to fix. what can I do?

I have a laptop that has issues but, I can get to safe mode.  I would like to make a backup of email so I can restore or transfer.  WLM and Windows Easy Transfer do not work in safe mode.  I have seen several posts in this forum and on the internet about copying the Windows Live Mail Folder and pasting this folder into a new/rebuilt machine.  Some posts say before installing WLM and other posts say after.  Which is better and what issues will I have if I go through this process versus the typical export/import?  Will calendar, contacts and settings carry over?
