Question about Outlook Express

password in windows live mail won't work

Hi Sir/Madam,

I need your help urgently, today all my contacts from my Samsung mobile have been deleted.

I need to restore back all my lost contacts ASAP.

I have not upgraded my Windows Live Mail recently.

All my contacts in mobile are NOT connected to my Microsoft account and they are created locally in the mobile's Microsoft Exchange Activesync.  There are no single contact in Windows Live Mail.

Recently, I have upgraded my laptop from Window 7 to Window 10. Without my knowledge, it had erased all my contacts in my mobile.

I know that I will very soon no longer be able to access my Hotmail Account emails using Windows Live Mail 2012 on my Windows 7 Notebook.

I have no desire to update this machine to Windows 10 and certainly do not wish to obtain Microsoft Officer 365 just to use Outlook for emails.

Will I still be able to use Windows Live Mail 2012 for my other email accounts with other service providers such as Google, Yahoo etc. after the change this month?

Also, will Hotmail Account emails still be available from email apps on my Android Tablets?

Was using Windows Live Mail 2011, then upgraded to Windows Live Mail 2012, and now my extension that used to open WLM no longer work, nor do any mailto links on web pages.

I have ascertained that WLM IS the default mail program and that the mailto protocol IS WLM

I'm having the same issue. 

I logged a bug with Microsoft so lets see if they can solve my issue. Feel free to help me debug.

Here is the contents of my bug:

Windows Live Mail not showing "Sent" (not to be confused with Sent Items folder) folder. 

Emails sent from WLM should be saved in "Sent Items" folder but are not being saved. They are being saved in the "Sent" folder because I can see then when using my iPhone AND if I use the web version of Outlook. 

Outlook tries to save the sent email to the "Sent" folder so I highly suspect there is a conflict between the two mail tools. My work around is to open the "Sent" folder under my hotmail account on my iPhone and forward a sent email back to my inbox.
TO make matters worse...If I try to create a new "Sent" folder in my WLM tool, I get an error message when WLM tries to sync with the server. If I remove the "Sent" folder I tried to create, the error goes away. I hope that helps you solve this.
