Question about Outlook Express

My windows phone says waiting for wi-fe connection when upgrading whatsapp and when connected it is failing to upgrade . So what should I do to use mobile data connection since the option of using data from Wi fe is not also seen

So, I've read the various posts in Microsoft Community that talk about this error.  So far, nothing has helped; WLARP ...  Repair Live Essentials ... Windows Live ID sign in assistant (this does not exist in my list of Services (local)) ... Also did a disk clean up.

Anybody have any other suggestions our there, please and thanks!!

Since I know the DeltaSync for WLM is being discontinued I deleted a Hotmail account that was using ActiveSync and re-added it using the IMAP settings. All the inbox and other folders were downloaded but the Sent folder remains empty although I saw it downloading 'sent' messages but then they never appeared. I am also unable to send mail from that account.

For outgoing port I have put smtp-mail.outlook.com port 25, clear text authentication, SSL yes. I also tried ports 587 and 465. For all I get the same error message "the host smtp-mail.outlook.com cannot be found" Error ID 0x800CCC0D. Socket error 11001. I am using Windows 8 Pro, Time Warner Cable in NYC. No anti-virus running.

How can I solve this so that I can send messages and have the sent folder synchronized? Thank you!

I thought I'd already posted this problem, but I can't seem to find it.

I recently had a hard disk failure and was forced to buy a new one, losing all my email programs and more importantly, my calendar. in the process. No worries I thought, I can go onto my laptop and retrieve it from there. The only trouble is that I found that the calendar is inaccessible, bringing up only a 'folder is busy' message. I have since found that MS is closing WLM (first I'd heard about it) without giving me an opportunity to export the data to somewhere else.

This is very serious and I'm furious about it. That calendat had information stored on it going back about four years or more – some of it valuable for purely nostalgic reasons, but also a heck of a lot of very vital data, with notes of appointments, banking details and even details relating to the death of my mother. How dare Microsoft take all this away on a whim? I had always thought cloud storage was supposed to be safe, but I'll never trust it again and will never trust Microsoft with anything. Given the haughty attitude displayed in answer to queries, I doubt if that will bother them very much.

A long time Live Mail user and suddenly having e-mails to friends with hotmail, live mail & outlook addresses bounced back on the basis that there have been reports of a large amount of spam mail  coming from 65.20.0.21.  This appears to be based in Redwood City, Ca,  and I am in the UK!

If this is a server that Windows uses to distribute Live Mail, can they please stop using it as I'm getting rather frustrated.  Especially since I re-send the same e-mail and it gets through!
