I changed from Windows 8 to Windows 10 three months ago. I didn't have any trouble with my Windows Movie Maker up until four days ago. Now it won't save my movie. I tried three times reinstalling it and even had help from a tech at McAfee. It still won't work. I found out that Windows 10 does not support it.

Windows Movie Maker was a dream come true for me. All you had to do was add the video and edit the start point and end points. That's all there was to it.  Windows Movie Maker was so easy to use and now I feel like I got robbed. Other programs I have checked out are very complex. For as popular as Windows Movie Maker is, I don't understand how they can deprive us.

Anyhow I downloaded four of the Movie Maker apps that Windows 10 has to offer and there are no directions on how to use them!  If no solutions can be found, I will be forced to go back to Windows 8 which I hate with a purple passion. It will be a real big headache getting everything back on my computer the way I have it.

Does anyone out there know anything? Please reply asap! Thank you.

I could send script from IE with send page by mail on previous version of anniversary update.

WLM is version 9.  After the update, send page by mail is shown but when I click send page by mail

WLM folder just opens.  WLM setting is all the same and IE, WLM are default program.  I can get

script/stationery on WLM.

Any solution?

I am sort of "Tec savey" I had an isue with my motherboard and got a new computer. I now have windows 10 and had tpay for a sitch in my email from windows 7 to Widows 10. so far it's been good. Reciently I am now getting a pop up that tells me there is an error"while attempting  to connect to the Windows Live Calender Service. The error persists. I am told in the popup to see if an upgrade exists or to contact the service provider. All this is now beyond me. How do I get an upgrade/and have that popup stop?

I have loaded my camcorder videos into Windows movie maker and want to burn them to a DVD disc. However I want to put them into chapters like I used to do with windows DVD maker on my old computer 8. How can I do this? Is there a package I can buy that will allow me to do this? although on windows 8 these 2 programs were already there!

Frustration!

Movie Maker fails to launch with the error "The program can't start because UXCore.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I have uninstalled Windows Essentials 2012 and reinstalled several times. I have rebooted. I have deleted Windows Live directories from Programs Files (x86) and Common Files directories. I have delete UXCore.dll from system32 directory. I have followed all suggestions in this post all without success. UXCore.dll exists in my system32 directory and Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Shared directories. I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit. Photo Gallery (which is installed with Movie Maker) launches and functions without issue. Thanks.
