I am getting this error message every time I go in to my Windows Live Mail on my PC.

Unable to send or receive messages for the news.freeserve.com account. The connection to the server has failed.

Server: 'pop.freeserve.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E

Any ideas on how I can fix it please?

Even after updating to the latest version of Windows 10, I am still unable to send photo emails.  I use Windows Photo Gallery for photos and Windows Live Mail for email.  I never had this problem with Windows 7 or Windows 8.  Regular emails aren't a problem.  I can send photos as an attachment, but don't understand why I should have to resort to this since we're told that Windows 10 is such a superior operating system.  Since there have been no replies to my original question, I guess I'll have to pay a tech to sort out the problem since I am not technologically savvy.   Apparently Windows 10 isn't as wonderful or user friendly as we're led to believe.

I had previously had problems with my windows live 2011 email but has since had help form Firedog in solving that. Now I need help getting my password to work, before I had the problem every time I launched windows live mail it would ask for my I.D. and password, Now that it is working it does not ask for my password when I launch the programme. What can I do to fix this issue.

I recently imported my outlook contact to my Outlook on my PC and now realize that many, but not all, of the contacts show up in my people name list in Photo Gallery. When that happened some of the names of people changed and I cannot get them back. For example, one name changed from Micha to Roberta and I cannot re-enter the name Micha - it just won't accept it. I needed to modify the name with a middle initial for it to take. It seems that some of the names that were replaced have been removed or hidden forever as if the "Don't Show Again" button was hit.

How can I remove ALL of the unwanted contacts from the "Tag As" people list ( the "cleanup unused tags" didn't work and I suspect that's why I cannot re-enter the "Micha" Name)? Plus how can I re-enter names that have been removed?
