Hello everyone,

When I visit websites and click on "Contact us" it immediately wants to open Windows Live Mail 2011 to use as the email client. But I get an error message every time it tries to open!  Even if I click on "Email: Windows Mail" after I click the "start" Button I still get the error message, but Windows Email 2011 opens.

I just clicked on the "Windows Live Mail" Icon in the lower right hand status bar and got the following error message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (Groffeaston) account.

Server Error: 3219
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

I have a screenshot of my other error message When I opened it from the "Start" button and I also have a screenshot of the error message I got when I clicked on "Contact us" on a website. I believe it is the exact same error message in both screenshots.

It worked a long time ago, but it has not worked properly since the one time I had problems with my computer and had to reset everything. Since then It has not worked properly. I tried uninstalling and re-installing several times, but that has not helped. I then installed the Newer version Windows Live Mail 2011, But again that did not even work properly from the install. Again tried uninstall then re-install, but that did not solve the problem.

I tried clicking on "control Panel" then clicking on "Programs and Features" and then scrolling down to "Windows Live Essentials 2011" and clicking on it and then clicking to "repair all Windows Live programs" But I got an error message saying I had no internet connection!! But I had internet connection!! I clicked "retry", but nothing happened, so I clicked "cancel".

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this issue and how to fix it?
