Question about Outlook Express

Hello everyone!

Before I start, I am a bit of a numpty when it comes to computers, so if you are kind enough to try and help, please be gentle!!

I use Windows Live Mail 2012 with Windows 7 Professional.  I like it!!

Since this afternoon I have been receiving the same message every time I try to check for any incoming emails.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Wanadoo (anna.peter2) account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Server: 'pop.orange.fr'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

I have tried to solve the problem by going onto forums and looking at the replies to other people with the same problem, but don't really understand the answer, or if I understand it does not work.  

I have also tried to do a System Restore to try and solve the problem, no luck!

This morning I opened and there were a few emails that were bold and as I was watching they turned to plain as if they had been opened and read. 

The only change I've made is, since upgrading to Windows 10 I switched from POP to IMAP, but I did that right away and thigs were fine until recently.

My save movie wizard is up to 36,000 minutes and rising! It won't stop and start working through the percentage? It would not even start that until I replaced some videos with still pictures. I have enough memory so I am sure that is not the issue. Help! What can I do to save this project....it needs to be in regular size,..small wont work for the videos and I don't want to keep dumbing it down and losing meaning for the song.

ps: I also often keep crashing when I make the video...keeps freezing up...what can I do for that as well

Just stumbled on how to use function keys for Sticky Notes like--for large text you press CTRL+Shift+>.  However 3 of the combinations don't work.

                  1. strikethrough text--CTRL+T

                  2. Bullet--CTRL+Shift+L

                  3. Number list--CTRL+L  put in 2 times.

If anyone has any information on this, any help would be appreciated.     Thank you,  Dolores Desroche
