Question about Outlook Express

Today, while I was editing a video on WMM, I wanted to cut a clip in half. Instead of pressing M, I accidentally pressed N. After I pressed it, it looked like WMM had frozen, but then some of the clips on the timeline looked grey with an arrow on the side. And when I hovered my mouse cursor on top of some other clips, they disappeared. I saved the project and opened it again, since that usually fixes the problems (for me at least). But when I opened it, this is what it looked like:

On the timeline, it looks like no clips or audio have been put in, but it still shows that the project is 4 minutes long and it shows ''Item 1 of 32'' in the bottom left corner (Also the Video Tools and the Music Tools at the top). 

When I try to play the project, there is no video or audio. Also, when I close Movie Maker, re-open it, and then open the project, this is what it looks like:

Since MS's killing of DeltaSync last June, I access all my Outlook and Hotmail accounts by POP using WLM2012. Over the last 6 weeks, one of my accounts on WLM2012 started to get error code 0x800CCC92 about 1/2 the time. Now, this past week, all the time. I signed into the webmail and went to Options>POP IMAP. Big change here and different from all my other POP accounts. Instead of authentication by SSL, it is now TLS encryption. Here's a copy paste from the webmail options.:

There is NO TLS setting on WLM2012. Is this where MS is going with all POP & IMAP access?????

Is this now THE DEATH of WLM2012? Or is there something I can do to still access Outlook.com POP with it?  Here is the server and WLM error code:

I have been using Windows Live Mail (2009 version) for my emails for about 6 years. My contacts list had all my email contacts from the last 18 years. Two weeks ago my contacts completely disappeared, apart from a random 7 contacts which I don't particularly use. My computer had been running low on memory. There were no updates that I had run at the time. It appears I had not set regular back ups of the contacts (I wasn't aware you could, never had this problem with outlook express). How can I get them all back? I have searched the internet for an answer but no luck so far. Can anyone please help me??? They must still be somewhere in my computer, but where?

Hi;.  My wlm still works fine on Windows 10 using a paid pop3 hotmail account.  Just recently reinstalled it cause win 7 quit updating and I sort of was forced into win 10.

I need Windows Live Photo Gallery bad. I've switched to Windows 10 and absolutely hate it., so I am trying to download as many windows 7 I can.

I have a recording in which the source file audio and video are not sync'd. Can MM handle the task of allowing me to move the audio start point to sync with the video? If so, how is it done. If not, is there a tool to do this?

The original file came from Camtasia and I converted it to a .AVI and then into MM. Would another format give me more options in MM?

My WLM 2012 is set to empty messages from the Deleted Items folder on exit. I note however that this has not been happening. I have a POP account.

1. What may happen if the folder is never emptied (aside from taking space on my hard disk)?

2. Why has my setting not been implemented?
