Windows Live Mail FAQ
Since the last update of Windows 10, every time I open Windows Live Mail I receive the following error message:
"There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative." (My italics!). I understand that Live mail is no longer supported in Windows 10. Is there a way I can update or upgrade and keep all my many files - as well as a calendar?
for 2 or 3 days my WLM will not load, saying it could not be started , may not have been installed correctly, make sure the disk is not bull and that you are not out of memory. I have windows 10, lots of room, and it was working correctly since I bought the system 1 year ago.
seems like there are lots of people with this problem, but are old messages and small computers. Please help

I am running Windows 7, using Windows Movie Maker Version 2012 ( Build 16.4.3528.0331)
Until recently everything worked just great. We use it to create DVD movies of our vacations and grandkids.
This just started about 2 weeks ago.
When I load a video, it re-formats fine, looks fine in the right pane and is clear and sharp when viewed in the preview pane.
When I load a JPG or JPEG file, either single or multiples, they appear fine as thumbnails in the right pane, but are blurry in the preview pane on the left. It looks to me as if they don't load completely in the preview pane ( my uneducated observation ).
Is there a setting I need to adjust? Could this be related to any MS Windows updates?
Any recommendations and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to update to Windows 10 because MS has dropped the DVD Maker.
