Hi Outlook experts,

I have a question for outlook 2011 on Mac. As we all know after adding the correct ldap server in my accounts, double click the contact on the address bar, a pop up box will show the information of the contact, like details, organization, groups, all these information all retrieved from the corporation ldap server.

With the same correct ldap settings, on windows 7&outlook 2007, this works well. But on Mac 10.9.3&Outlook Mac 2011, this feature doesn't works well.

My question is: this feature supported on Mac outlook 2011?

Hi All,

My Outlook data storage is now sitting at about 20GB..

What i want to know is can i copy the entire Microsoft User Data folder to another drive and reopen the Outlook identity at a later date if needed ?

I know on windows i could just copy the .pst file, of course this doesn't exist on the Mac.

Once copied i can then delete a heap of stuff i don't really need current access to on the Mac..

However I want to be able to access all the emails quickly in the event i need to.

Thanks.

Hello,

Is there a programmatic Way to disable Error Notifications- Outlook for mac that anyone has used? we get a Error code -17768 LDAP lookup error when looking up new email addresses. It doesn't affect the functioning of outlook at all, but we would like to disable it for our entire mac user base.

FYI- This is on a Company exchange server and we have determined that there is no way to fix this without upgrading our Exchange environment.

thanks

How can I get Outlook to stop capitalizing i.e.?

I want to keep AutoCorrect on, and I want to keep Capitalize first letter of sentences turned on.

I have tried to create an AutoCorrect entry for "I.e." to "i.e.", but it doesn't seem to permit it. I have also tried to create an "INitial CAps" exception for I.e. but it also doesn't work.

Is there any way to keep the main functionality working but stop this very irritating problem?

Thanks

When sending large files the timeout clicks in sends me back a message to say that the e-mail was not sent when actually it was sent. I have been told that the timeout settings are generating the return "not sent" message. Can I change the timeout settings and how?
Upgraded OSX software and now Outlook 2011 doesn't open. All other Microsoft Office products open and work (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) but not Outlook. I upgraded to the latest version of Office 2011 but it didn't help.  When I click on the Office App Icon it brings up the opening dialog box then crashes immediately.

Hi. We have MacBook Pro Mavericks and Office for MAC 2011 installed.

Yesterday all were worked, but today...User can't open any attach in new emails. In all email wich comes Yesterday or early - he can.

Then i want to look a Headers of email - i can't. The function is absent.

I looked settings with format - all settings as default for Outlook with HTML format.

Why user can't open new attaches ?

Once agian I accidentally hit the Return key while unaware that an item in my Office Reminders was highlighted, and as a consequence it has disappeared, cancelled, and there is no 'Undo'.

Is there any way to stop Office Reminders doing this?  This accidental cancellation could be really serious.

Is it possible to stop Outlook turning the emails in my Inbox red when they're overdue, it's completely messing up my Categorize system?
