In Outlook 2010 for the PC there is a missing scroll bar on the contact details form when the screen is too small to show the entire form. This can be seen by opening a contact and restoring the form down to a small size. See this thread.

For the Mac, could someone post a screenshot whether the scroll bar exists or not please?

Hello all,

I work in a Enterprise environment, we run Active Directory and bind our Macs to the domain. We use Lync for Mac, and I've noticed that on the Mac clients, the user status does not update accordingly. When my users are in a conference call, it shows available, etc. It works fine on a Windows machine with that same user.

If the event is on the Outlook calendar, sometimes it will show them as away during that time period, but it does not seem to update when on the phone/in a meeting, etc.

Any advice would be appreciated, my user is on Mac OSX 10.9.3 and Lync 14.0.8.

Thank you,

Michael

I have a major issue here where I'm trying to get mail messages back.  I am running outlook 14.4.1 on OSX 10.9.3

The client notified me that outlook would start to open and then just crash out.  All the documentation points to the database somehow getting corruted and needed to be rebuilt.  On the main computer I attempted to rebuild the database and kept getting error -36 during step #3 of the rebuild.  A handful of google searches would lead me to believe that there is a hardware failure.....

So then I took all the folders in the main outlook identity and pulled them over to the macbook .... I copied all the mail folders to a new outlook identity and attempted to rebuild the database.  It gets halfway into step #4 of the rebuild and then fails with error -18000.

I'm almost a full day into trying to figure out what is the problem and if there is any way to retrieve the data.  I don't have a OLM file to work with and since it was all POP mail I can't re-download from the server.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

When I am scheduling a meeting, in the Scheduling Assistant the "All Attendees" tab is stuck closed so I can't view the list and assign status (Optional, etc.). How can I get the All Attendees list to show?

The 'Create a group' button on my outlook isn't highlighted like the rest of the options are and I can't click it.

How can you create a rule to move incoming inbox emails to an offline folder under My Computer. i try to right click on email > create a Rules > select the email > select move to a folder and choose other folder and type in the folder name, i dont see the name of the folder show up in the window.

Only those folders name are showing which are under my online inbox only . It does not allow me to create a rule to move the emails to an offline folder. How do i do that ?

I use gmail for email, but when I try to respond to an Internet site through email (when the site says, for instance, 'contact me'), Outlook starts up, tells me I don't have a profile, etc.  I want to turn off Outlook without affecting other Msoft Office products.
Sometimes when I decline a meeting in Outlook 2011 for MAC I need to add another recipient to the notice so that they are aware that I am declining the meeting. In Outlook 2011 for Windows this not an issue but in the MAC version it doesn't allow me to add an extra recipient. Is there a way to do this that I am just not aware of? It is so frustrating that I need to forward the sent Declined response in a separate email when I could've been handled in the original decline notice.
