Hi,

I am trying to register my domain with Live Domains via Admin Center and I get this message:

This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language.

My domain is: payne.mobi

I have successfully registered 2 others without issues but I've been unable to register this one, I'm assuming your system doesn't like the .mobi ending.

Could this be unlocked for me please?

Kind Regards,

Jacob Payne

Hi All,
Had an account for at least 9 years which is linked to several products that contain assets of mine, I have not used the email account for 3-4 years until now.  I have discovered that the email is in use and has been for a long time and is linked to a Facebook account, Xbox live and a Microsoft account non of which are anything to do with me.  The security question to the account has been changed and the account also has an alternate email address that is nothing to do with me.  I'm concerned that it may jeopardize my assets but as of yet they have not been affected.  I can get to the "provide info" page where it asks for folder creation, names of recently contacted, Xbox live account and card details etc.  Non of which I can provide as its been so long under this other persons use.  The only real info I could provide is other passwords I may have used on the account.  I hadn't worried or been concerned with not accessing the email until I found it been used by an imposter.   I still use the email address to sign into various software's but they have always had different passwords.  I'm completely stuck as to what to do to get the account back, any ideas ???

I have several emails with the same theme and have always used the same theme, the email address also contains my real name and the person using it has a completly different name.

Ben6999@ is the account in question and my alternate's are:

Big_Perm6999@  (no longer have access)
Perm6999@  (currently used)

Thanks

Ben

thank you

I was forced to update my backup email address which took a month to do, and now I can't verify that email address or change my account info. It keeps telling me it's sent a code to the back up email address, but I haven't received any emails from microsoft in my inbox or junk folder. It's put asterisks in my email when it displays it, so I can't even see if I've just misspelled the email address.

I'm not prepared to try again from scratch and wait another month before being able to access my account properly.

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE REPLYING, AND PLEASE REPLY ONLY TO MY QUESTION. PLEASE DO NOT VOLUNTEER OPINIONS OR INFORMATION THAT IS NOT DIRECTLY RELATED. Too many moderators are replying and not answering my question. I NOW DOUBT THE ABILITY OF MS MODERATORS TO READ AND COMPREHEND THE QUESTIONS BEING POSTED. I read other users' posts and I see the same problem with their posts. Moderators are not reading closely, not comprehending what is actually being asked. When many moderators reply with wrong or unrelated information, it makes Microsoft and its employees/moderators seem unintelligent (which I doubt is the case); but they should read and THINK before replying.

EVERYTIME I POST THIS QUESTION, THE MODERATORS LOCK THE THREAD BEFORE MY QUESTION CAN GET ANSWERED. Note to Moderators: Please Do NOT lock this thread. If you do not know the answer, then please leave this alone, and allow somebody who does know to answer here. I do NOT have a technical problem. I AM ASKING A QUESTION. It does not require a private communication with moderators. ANYBODY WHO WISHES TO REPLY, PLEASE *READ* THE QUESTION FIRST, AND ANSWER ONLY WHAT I AM ASKING. I have read the help pages. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME ADVICE ON THE PROCEDURES. I want to know what is supposed to happen if I attempt the following. (Here is a repeat of my other post, which the MS moderators have locked without allowing anyone to answer.) And Please do NOT ask me to fill out the tech support submission form. I do NOT (yet) have a tech problem. I am asking a question....

email change primary alias - what happens to old primary?

This is simple. I want to change my primary alias (which is the email address I used to originally create the account several years ago, before aliases were possible). After that, I want to delete the former primary alias (the original email address), but keep the same account, using the new alias as the new primary address. If I do this, does my former primary alias (the original email address) get totally disassociated from my account? That is what I want to happen, because too many people have my original address (currently my primary alias), and I want to totally discard it, which will stop most or all the junk mail. AND, YES, I ALREADY UNDERSTAND HOW THE JUNK MAIL FOLDER AND SETTINGS WORK, AND HOW TO MAKE FOLDERS FOR ALIASES. So PLEASE DO NOT tell me about that. But if the former primary address will somehow remain associated with the account, then I will create an entirely new account. NOTE: This is not (yet) a tech problem; I am asking in advance what is supposed to happen. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME ADVICE, AND PLEASE DO NOT REPEAT HELP PAGES INFO. And MODERATORS, please DO NOT lock this thread and tell me to fill out a tech support form. (I did fill out a tech support form once, but nobody every replied, so a few days later, I reposted my question/issue, and moderators locked the thread before anyone could answer my question. NOTE: REPLYING TO A POST IS NOT THE SAME THING AS ACTUALLY *ANSWERING* A QUESTION.)

I posted this issue a few days ago. I got some replies, but they did not directly answer my question/issue. Then a site moderator locked the discussion and stated s/he would email me directly the answer within 24 hours. That did not happen. So I am asking again. I have read the help pages. So please do not merely repeat info from help pages. I have a Hotmail address (which MS has now converted to an Outlook account, although I still sign-in with my Hotmail address). Several months ago, I wanted to make a new primary alias and delete my original primary alias (the log-in, sign-in, email address I made when I created the account, back in the years before aliases were available). A few months ago, it was not possible to delete the primary alias (or at least not the original email address that was used to create the account). Now the help pages seem to imply that we can change the primary alias and then even delete the former primary alias. Does that include being able to delete a former primary alias that was the address used to originally create the account? (That is what I wish to do, but I am asking in advance, so in case it is not possible, I will not go through the procedure and possibly mess up my account, which other Hotmail/Outlook users stated happened to their accounts when they tried changing the primary alias.) If we can delete a former primary alias (even the address originally used to create the account, does that totally disassociate the deleted former primary alias (original email address used to create the account) from the account, so that all emails sent to that former primary (once deleted) never reach the account? Someone replied and asked why I want to delete my former primary alias, after I change the primary. That really isn't relevant to anyone else. I have my reasons. I want a direct answer from someone who knows about this issue, perhaps from someone who has been around for at least a year. When I first inquired a few months ago, an MS tech suggested I should just create a new email account, because at that time it was not possible to delete the original email address/alias that I used to originally create the current account. Is it really possible to do this now? (If so, apparently the email account is based on name and personal information and password, and not based mainly on the original email address that created the account.) Thanks in advance to anyone who can directly answer my questions.
Hi there,
This message is on behalf of my boyfriend *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I recently moved to the UK from Australia and was using my hotmail as usual and then all of a sudden it blocked me asking for me to answer my security questions or send an unlock code to an email. The problem is that I no longer have access to the alternative email and also I opened the account in 1999 and have no idea of the answer to the security question. I filled out the recovery form several times with all the info form my previous email which i could still see on my phone and it kept denying it then i did it again earlier after waiting a painful 48 hours after calling support. Getting on live chat several times. Then I get an email asking for me to just open a new account. I have had this account since 1999 and i have hundreds of accounts lined to this hotmail. I have currently 50 resumes with potential employers here in the UK that I am relying on this account for their response. I have seriously tried all options. I have no idea how this has happened but I am in serious need of help. How could a hacker know the subjects of my last 10 emails??? i have no idea how that could fail the test. I need help asap.
